  1. thats what i heard. in fact there is a picture of a all black g-filed/gauge putter in flatstick pics that looks like an eldik although it wasnt hollow.. there was a solid billet on the side similar to a scotty newport detour but chunkier. that looked awesome. never got the name of it
  2. thanks for the heads up. thats all you fished?:)
  3. awesome i am so excited. cant wait til these chikara wedges come out.! im in need of a wedge that can be versatile enough for all kinds of conditions. im still unable to find a wedge that will guarantee me decent shots at extremely tight lies. thsi could be the one:) reid, thats an awesome of collection. enough to last a liftetime. do you get to play with all your babies? im curious what putter gets the most greentime?
  4. true, true although the putter i would really like to own are the premium zone putters. hard to come by though nowadays.
  5. Chris, are these leap m putters still obtainable? edited: just saw the leap m putters, they are ugly looking imho. i could never use a putter im not attracted to:)
  6. chris i am curious pn your comments on the eldik ace and player zone?
  7. thanks. i actually am a neo mallet person, find the anser style not to my liking. love the sight lines. was just curious if the "feel" was any good. il have a review once i get the putter cant go wrong with the price:) also considering a Gauge Design Player Zone Code-3 , which would be the better one?
  8. guys i have the oppurtunity to buy one from a friend at a good price. i was wondering if this putter is any good and compares and comes close to the legendary g-field premium/performance zones. thanks in advance.
  9. i can imagine the name being a japanese brand though.
  10. one of the best tasting beers in my opinion is beamish. its a rich full bodied beer from scotland. reminds me of rootbeer:) other than that stella artois red rooster and of course, san miguel beer!
  11. good point as well. as much as i like the look of the blades i am ruled by my scores and the stroke discrepancy is way more than two strokes for me:) when im betting with friends i will never part with my cb's. they are more forgiving than the pope.,
  12. love the camo cover. i got the very same glove. love that brand
  13. i was in the same boat as you. no doubt at the time i got my maruman shuttle 3 wood and the way i was hitting it at the time i wished for a 5 wood. i eventually got used to the 3 and when i hit it square it just shines.
  14. well said. il be honest though, im always more drawn to how a particular club looks more than my actual ability to play it properly. hell i usually dont consider forgiveness in an iron until ive bit the bullet. when my father let me choose my first pair of clubs from his personal stash i was particularly drawn to his old school blades. he told me i was insane! i guess its an ego thing plain and simple. the guy sporting blades with xxstiff steel shafts is just oozing with machismo, not the same story though with his playing ability:) your observation about whats in a pro's bag is soo true. they do it for a living and a 1 stroke difference could mean not bringing home the bacon. and thats the difference, i play for fun and im not so penalized with trying to use gear beyond my playing abilities. easier said than done though:)
  15. i actually went down with the ns pro 1050 S. was considering the 1150 but not at this point in time. i like the way you put it. il defintely give it a shot. i can always keep the shafts anyway. and the way i see it, i will be experimenting with numerouse wedges and its an eventuality that i will get my hands on the black golds
  16. i agree, anything outside the borders of the grooves are distracting and sort of clutters the overall face of the club
  17. will do! im sure it will be night and day with the clevelands
  18. thanks for the reply Gocchin! anyway i have already decided on a Epon x in copper:) im so excited i cannot wait. with all the options and posts ive read im pretty sure ive made the right decision for now. also decided on the ns pro 1050 S. also eagirly awaiting the chikaras by Carlton, cant wait and am totally going to treat myself to those when they come out.
  19. i myself wanted to take a LMT but i was advised to come back when my swing was more consistent. im still at the stage wherein im evaluating different kinds of swings. not to mention im on my second golf instructor since i started. for now, what can i get tested? club length? lie? etc? whatever the case i thnk il schedule a test and fitting soon.
  20. swingspeed? not quite there yet:) il take a LMT when my swing is more consistent. yeah i was considering the black golds but it might be too much for me. as for the nspro 1150, they are about 109 grams for the regular. my clevelands were shafted with TT dynamic gold roughly around 124-127grams. for now im bent on the nspro 1050 stiff. those black golds are creeping in though
  21. thanks for the reply. ive already read most of your posts and it helped me decide on the epon x. seems like the real deal. now my problem is what to shaft it with. decidions decions. nspros, tts ??
  22. well ive had a lot of irons which are all hand me downs of my dad whos a lifetime player of the game. my current beres mg801 came with the armqb4 shafts which i found to light and whippy and planning on re-shafting with nspro 950. my katanas on the other hand came with rifle 90s steel shafts and i found this to be the best overall feel in terms of weight. i however want something heavier in my wedges but not stiffer. i want something heavier than a nspro 850 and rifle 90 but not too stiff. im really really bent on the nspros but which they had something heavier than the 1150.
