Diamana x17 70x Holy grail shaft. You will not see this again. The X series are dIAMANA'S holy grail and probably the best shaft in my opinion. Torque is 1.9 you wont find a shaft more stable than this, ive tried em all! I currently use the stiff versions. comes w a cobra tip and winn grip, plays 45.75" shipped Diamana x series 60x shaft. plays 45"+ in drivers w adapters pulled the Titleist adapter and is not included. 280$

ok guys this is the same driver head decided to shaft it with a fire express 65sx. its now very very good combo with the FEX. Mid launch low spin bomber. practically giving the head away. plays approx 44.5 short driver build appropriate for the smaller head. 250$ net shipped

I think you have the Epon Zero confused with the 2007 Epon technicity 380cc. A.k.a the Red devil. epon Zero was sooo demanding ultra low spin beast.

Thanks Stu-san, your experiences with gear are truly remarkable and thanks for the advice. Dont we feel a bit strange finding driver heads to match the shaft and not vice versa? Hands down Il be playing the diamana x 2012/2017 for as long as i can there is simply no shaft that comes close. Ive hoarded quite a few to last me a very long time. Right now i am getting the longest combo with an Epon 380 diamana x series 2012 60s. it was originally a 3w shaft that i stuck in and plays 44" which is the right length for me. have dabbled in 44.5 and 44.75 nothing is as consistent as 44. but back to that combo its simply unbeatable and want to create similar combos of that head size and spec. TS388 and yonex 380cc ryo ish model come to mind. Ive built a few like the 415 w dimana x 60x 2012 and the combo was terrible. love the feel of the shaft but that head feels muted and launches too high. shots were leaking right so not sure if its the head or the shaft but that same thing happened when i had a fire express 65sx. Reshafted my old 105 with the same shaft and will see if the problem is solved. So the new combo is 105 10* diamana x 60x 44.25" , had to add around 6 grams of lead to the head to bring up the swingweight. very excited for this combo. Regarding crazy i had the combo with a ozik shaft a decade ago and still consider it a very long head feel is soso but im not so sensitive to feel rather than performance. it was indeed lights out. so awesome yet i sold it. why do i do that??? The kamuis are stellar and i loved my Nitrogen tp07, had the 09 as well and moved those right before i took a hiatus from golf. good reason to get those back but defintely want to keep the expriement to 380-400CC heads to maximise my shafts. back to the drawing board.

Building a greatest hits bag. right now im gaming an epon 380cc w Diamana x 60 and playing at 44” its kicked out some serious Competition like the Ping g400 Max, g425 Max etc. Nothing comes close to consistency and reliability So wanted alternative heads to mate my excess Diamana x 2012/2017 shafts. Have about 5😀 had the ts388 before it was so awesome i sold it 😂

anyone have one? thanks got some interesting things for trade.

Yeah I have a rat tail file for reaming the inner part of the ferrule
-
Yup saw that one I ordered a tub.
-
Yup I use tape to cover up the ferrule. Has worked on all my irons jobs so far. It’s the ferrule installation into the .370 head I’m worried about.
-
Hi Nob I’ve studied how to remove the ferrule in advance. I’m able to remove iron ferrules and save them with a golfmechanix ferrule block which I use in conjunction w a shaft puller. Works! Also have hot water and lots of tape for back up should be ok Regarding the ferrule yes this may be the biggest challenge I have a feeling ferrule is .370 in a .355 shimada pt120 taper shaft . Can use the hot water trick to expand the ferrule prior to install. Will comment once I build

well i picked up a Dogatti pt135 for the zen , just planning in advance. does anyone know the insertion depth of the hosel of the zen? looks pretty deep. Or it could be half the hosel and if so and cut to 34.5-35" the putter will play short if installed in a another putter that plays tapered shafts. really late to the dogatti bandwagon!
-
My goodness that’s a crazy combo. how does it feel now compared to original Shimada?
-
Long shot but worth a try. Thanks.
-
Thank you. Been looking for a dogatti they are so hard to Find.
-
yeah saw that i found one locally already thanks! going to put a BGT tour black shaft:)

Good read Stu San! I have 4 diamana x in my collection and they are the only shaft il play. Nothing comes close. I hit the Ventus blue today and meh the X from 2012 is 1000x better snd more stable. you have to hit it to appreciate. The boron I had two. It’s on the fragile side and Pete the pilot snapped it in one of our rounds. It’s that fragile! probably need a couple of 70s 70x and 60x in 2017 snd il call it quits. Until then the hunt is on!

60x 2017 to complete the collection i wont be trying any other shafts
-
Unfortunely he wont sell the Shaft only. Unfortunaley he wont sell the Shaft. Will you consider selling me yours? 😀
-
Had this and regret selling it. This was at Times longer than my driver due to hitting it square!
