my uncle has been gaining 10 yards everytime he gets a brand new driver.
that was several years ago. one day on a 550yard par 5 he says damn this new ******** driver is
so long i just gained 10 more yards. i then tel him to use a wedge instead as his new
driver will end up in the next town. he shanked his ball.
point is we always have longest and greatest when its new and are playing well.
as ive discovered its more of finding the most consistent setup combo of shaft and head
and more than just raw distance 1/10 shots. my longest ever was a team yoshimura LD
driver that i hit 20 yards longer than my current setup. problem is i only did it once in the time
i have owned it. id sacrifice distance for consistency.
