  1. They look pretty awesome! Somebody will get a sweet set!
  2. You can get the forged AP1 Chris? Yes, Titleist is now Korean since they sold to Fila... Wow, that could be awesome. I am pretty convinced I am going to get the AP1 Forged or if the 2014 VG3's look better in person when you get to the golf fair. Chris what would the price of the AP1 forged be?
  3. I think I have one of each. The 18 and 24 are the original I think and the 21 the type R. I would have to check the bag but it is -15 in the garage....
  4. I hope this picture is the uber-forgiving model. My wallet hopes it is not. Maybe someone can get us the AP1 forged from Korea, that looks good!
  5. I might have to move to Asia to feel like a Giant! Barley above average in the states! Thanks guys for the feedback!
  6. Looking at some titleist Japan clothing, pullovers/shirts. I am between a large or extra large in the US. Would I be a LLL or LL in Japan sizing? I am not a giant nor a big chubby. 6ft about 195 any thoughts?
  7. Slightly smaller = me very happy!!
  8. Shank- I find it really versatile. I can hit it high or lower depending on ball position. Off the tee, I play it slightly back and hit a draw that runs out. I have a GD UT 85 in it. I play Aerotech 95's in my irons so I wanted a similar weight shaft. Depends what you want the club to replace 5wd or driving iron (2?) I would go 18. 3-4 iron I would go 21*, you can play it a little longer to make it a 3+ iron... My SS is 95-105. When loose and in warm weather.
  9. I have 3 Romaro UTes. I play the 18 and 21 right now and have a 24 in reserve (basically replaces a 4 Iron) 21 is very versatile. The 18 frankly I can kill off the tee. Can hit a mid traj runner off the tee like 230 yds.... I am considering tinkering, buying Spoon's XV 18* 5 wood which at 42.5 inches is like a 4 wood. Going D, 18 XV, 21 and 24 Romaro....but probably end up sticking with what I have....
  10. The cavity design looks "cleaner". Geez I hope they don't go even wider on the sole. The only thing I really think that would make my 2010 VG3's better would be a slightly narrower sole... I still have high hopes on this release! When will they be released and open for orders?
  11. I think the IPT model was named for my game.....I PUTT Terribly GLWS Duke!
  12. My Romaro UT has the Graphite Design Tour AD UT shaft. Great combo
  13. The Romaro Type R's are very very good, I had a set with Tour AD shafts. Very forgiving and very good feel. Nice sole design..... I couldn't part with my Titleist VG3's from 2010 with Aerotech shafts and I don't do well with two sets to choose between...I too am waiting for the 2014 VG3's
  14. I like Romaro's FW and Utilities. The Ti Cup face performs very well. I like the utilities better than the FW, but the FW is excellent as well. I played the Egg before and the scooped out back finally got to me and overcame the forgiveness, though it is great as a ball retriever :) I am interested in the XV user experiences.....

My guess is Pete is sticking with the OnOff as the main bag set....
  16. Based on Chris' comparison to VG3's, I would say between the 302 and 502, more skewed to the 302 end of the spectrum---which is where the VG3's fall
  17. No question I am a VG3 fanboy!! I will drop T a note..
  18. Any buzz out there on what Titleist has planned for 2014? They released some well recieved updates in the US to their AP1 and AP2 lines. VG3's are due for an update. I am a huge VG3 fan, I play the 2010 model and have for 3 years, which is a record for me.(though I did dabble with the very very good Romara V this year for a month or so). I am very interested Anybody?
  19. Titleist did come out with a newer model in 2012. I preferred the look of the 2010 I am hoping for a knockout version in 2014....kate upton like.
  20. Best Feeling probably my old MR23 with the copper underlay Longest. Titleist VG3 2010 model Combo. Titlieist VG3 2010 model. Titleist VG3 2010 model is for me the best combo of distance, feel and forgiveness.
  21. Aren't the VG3's Endo forged as well? I love the 2010 VG3's. Perfect combo of feel, distance, forgiveness for me. The only wish I have would be a slightly narrower sole.
  22. I know I am late to the party. Hope all had a safe and Merry Christmas!
  23. Wow they are beauties!
  24. Looks great. Slighter has a family operation and tells an interesting story on his website.
