I play conditions similar to yours. I've played most wedges out there. MiurA 51y and 56k is best I've found. Get them. They will not disappoint..

I have the v201 Tour model and love it. I also had the 2011 v425 tour and prefer the V201 Tour to it. I don't see anything to gain in the newer models. Maybe the 2013!!

I got on the Yamaha wagon this year. I've had every driver under the sun until his point. First I had the 2011 9 deg v425 tour. It was great but wanted a little more forgiveness. I found a 2010 tour model V201 10 deg with tour ad i65 type two. Wow does this thing fit me. Long high and straight bombs(with forgiveness too). And topped off with the best feel I've had in a driver. If you can find one try it out. Even though it's a couple years old I guarantee it hangs with the newer models. One thing that really amazed me was the lack of side spin I'm getting now(not sure if it's head, shaft or combo of both). Yammi for life now..

The channel may not do anything on the WMF-06 but the three channels absolutely work on K grind. You hit three balls out of trap with K grind and then the same with conventional grind. No comparison.

The K grind is sold in the US. That is why I say its a US model. Still a Japan product and Im sure the quality is every bit as good as the wedge above. I cant see a wedge feeling better than these.. Good spin too . I like the K grind design better than Giken grind above. I think it is more useful than the one groove in the center as shown above. I like the Y for my gap (made in 51 and 53) and the K for my sand. I may add a 60 K for my lob in the future. If you play a 54/58 setup you can get two K's and bend 2 strong, get a 53 Y and 56 or 60 K and bend to your specs...

I play the US model y grind gap k in sand. Best wedges I have ever had(coming from epon 208 and 210 and chikara protos). The K grind is unreal. Any shot you want.. Tight lie, rough, open it up... Best sole grind I have used and unbelievable out of sand. Feel is super soft too. You won't be disappointed.

Up for sale is a MINT VEGA RAD-02 driver. This has a Mamiya proforce VTS Red 7 X flex shaft. Shaft was a new install. Club has hit maybe 20 drives. 45". Club face sets up dead square to a tad open. Long and forgiving!! Has factory Vega cord grip. Comes with original headcover. $315 SHIPPED

1. Next I have an old school Yamaha 405D driver. 9 deg. Square face angle. Great shape 8.5/10. Non Conforming and DEEP(.88 COR.. When hit on the screws, nothing is longer). Has a tiny rattle in tip of shaft(have to hold it up to you and shake in few directions to hear it. Small piece of epoxy in tip of shaft loose is my guess).
