I put the Yamaha V - 3 Wood (2012) 14 degree in a Ozik Radix 5 - R, relatively cheap and easy to hit / get it up in the air (but there is a small fade for some reason compared to my egg spoon M40). Given the swing speed, maybe use a heavier shaft would be better...

I'm playing the Ray V....(and also have the epon 302, V-forged 2008 version withe alpha gel).... so when comparing the three, the Ray V's seem to have a more "muted" feel to the club.

I'm running witht the Dance with Dragon - Claw grip... not bad and they smell nice. or the Romoro Grips... they also have the fragrance grip

Can anyone confirm where Geotech (especially the forged 700 series) are made in?.... one of the clubmakers here in HK say that they are made in China.... really?

I have recently shafted a Rombax Platinum R55 onto a Yamaha D460 [2011 model]. Its ok... hits a bit longer than my Rombox X R55 also on a Yamaha 460D [2008 model.] The clubmaker suggested that I need to hit the club on the range about 300 times before the shaft really looses up... not sure if that is bull%%%% or reality... so far probably had about 100 hits with it. My swing speed is only about 90 or so...its not cheap...

Yamaha had alpha gel in their clubs long before Epon.... i'm talking about 2005 for 2004

Personally I'm playing with a 07 460D with a Rombax X 0507 Regular (the yellow one). Somehow much more forgiving than my Taylormade 580XD with a Rombax Z 0508 (silver / blue). Edmund
