PS2 vs Xbox
DoubleAA replied to phillypete's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearPS2 all day. Network Capability and Online gaming are extreme through cable modem. Whole new world playing on line. Pulling 3000 kb per second on a 10G Ethernet Wireless system. Running Dual 2.4 Ghrtz Processor P4's on ASUS board 1024Megs/Ram Micron PC W2K/Unix/Linux. Don't let Microsift fool you. Sony got a lock on gaming. You can get the XBox but don't blame me if your not happy. Graphics generator, controller and network connectivity suck A$$. Sorry Hipcheck! is this for real? what do you think? Taylormade?
I think it's a Bang Mellow Yellow. If you look at the rear of the sole design it's more squared than a TaylorMade. Also, the loft designation is in exactly the same place and the Mellow Yellow is 420 cc's. Whoa!! 8O Hey bro, I think you are spot on with the Bang Mell Yell. The dude rubbed all the markings off, no wonder it looks brushed. Big Dope, somebody should be reporting this despicable ACE WHOLE to EBay. ;bluegrab If you told me that I was going to spend over $1100 bills on that Scotty Sham-ron and a rubbbbed down Mellow yellow, I would reply: "Why don't U-LIQ-MA-DIQ!!!" 8)

Head certainly looks to be a TMade design. I would probably not be to far off to say this was a stolen club of the XP proto. What is with the head cover, looks like a lost wool sock the guy stitched up.

swing thought to keep from getting too steep
Try and hit your ball straight right keeping the right elbow close to the body. Throw the hands at the ball. You may be trying to swing to hard, this causes you to pull your hands toward the body casting the club head out and away creating the outside - in swing. Relax. Simple swing thought: Picture a horizontal baseball swing, If the batter is swinging down on the ball, he will hit a grounder (bat path being up to down) If he is swinging up, he will hit a fly ball (bat path being down to up). Picture this on a vertical angle with the driver but in opposite. Your downswing will be a slice L to R (head path being outside - in). Your upswing will be a draw from R to L promoting a square club face from inside - out.. You can also try a 3 Tee Drill. Place 2 tee's in the ground pointing at your desired target 12" from each other. The front Tee of course is for the ball, the back tee is your wanted EXIT point. Take the 3rd tee and place it 4" to the left of the BACK tee. This should reference the path you want your club head to come down on. Inside to Out or as in baseball, down to up. Go from PW to Driver, this will get that muscle memory started. Hope this helps.

What will Titleist do if Scotty leaves?
I would think that if SC did attempt to leave there would be some huge payoffs for Patent issues. The issue would be more trouble than it it worth for all involved. Titleist would then either her have the choice to bar the name of Scotty Camron gracing the back of anything non-titleist or they would have to purchase the rights to use the name and keep it sononymous to TList and let SC do what he pleases. Not sure how that would work. Let's hope it is old news!!

Who uses a staff bag?
JS That is a NICE set up! ;puppy My wife would have a Sh:t fit if I had a golf bag that sweet. I have sold a few sets to gather money to buy my ideal bag-o-goodies for approx $3000.00. I just haven't hit the numbers yet.  From all the bags I have seen on this site all I can say is Damn, I need a sponsor! Excluding my Drivers, my set looks like a bag full of broom handles.

His shafts were YELLOW, during the last round of the Master's. The guy like color combo's. I heard that they were Apache shafts.

2004 driver test
Good Info! 8) The only problem is, they will have a new test next week with different results and a different opinions of who makes the best club/s. :? I see no problems with these test and the results but they are so unfounded. :( There are so many companies that make quality equipment. These test are never the SAME and always done in different formats with as they say "Unbiased" opinions. I never see some of the clubs I have tested or read about such as foreign makers have a repeated mention in any Driver test. If you run this test in Japan, China, etc, you will see they have there own version and #1 which will differ from what you see here.

What's more beneficial- fitted clubs or Tour
By far FITTED! F _ _ K "Tour" rated equipment, I could dig a club out of can, set it up, and call it TOUR. I would find some tour addicted retard to buy it. Every Pro is fitted to his liking, nothing comes off the rack perfect, ever! If you want to get serious about dropping strokes, your set NEW or OLD has to have some modifications for lie, length, angle, grip, flex, etc. Nice "Suit" analogy Petey Great Question.

Darren Clarke
They say he is quite the prankster as well, he and Tiger have a history with practical jokes, being Irish, drinkin and brawlin are a part of everyday life. I like the guy and his game, great attitude.
