  1. I spoke with a tech guy @ MRC and he told me that there is enough parallel tip section to allow for an additional 1/2" of tipping even on the PW.
  2. Thanks for the info. When I said "straight install" I meant per the manufacturer's tipping instructions. I think I will go +1/2" over the recommended tipping instructions.
  3. I received my set of OTi 95s today and now I am just trying to decide how to install them, straight in or tipping them to play slightly firmer than flex. My SS is about 105 and I am more of a hitter with a quick transition. Thanks again for everyone's input.
  4. They are not tapered. They are (.370) OD.
  5. If I was going to install a set of OTI 95 in stiff and wanted to match the flex to my MCI 100s should I tip them? My driver swing speed is 103 - 105.

A better idea is to take an old favorite driver and send it to have the face shaved. You can pick the COR you want and you know you will like the look and feel of the club.
  8. Would the 95 OT or 105 OT (stiff) play most similar in weight and flex to the MCI 100 stiff?
  9. Just to clarify, when I mean "play both" I am referring to the Fuji MCI 100 and MRC OT shafts.
  10. I have played the Steelfiber i95 and i110 both in stiff. I am now currently playing the Fuji MCI 100 in stiff and really like this shaft. Great ball flight with much better feel than the Steelfiber. IMO I would like to try the MRC OT in either the 95 or 105 weight. Which ever is closest to the MCI 100. Can someone who has played both please give me their opinion?
