I have not hit the XR-05 but have hit the XR-03s (now playing R7 TP) in the past and those were very under-rated drivers, mostly here because of the NON conforming. The feeling of the two drivers, I felt, were very similar. I think too many people get into the fact that the XR series are non-conforming and that it is not right to play them. My take on that is if youare playing rec golf and go out on Sundays or what ever day you play and just want to enjoy the game with a GREAT and FORGIVING driver then play the XR clubs. Unless you have an incredible swing speed the difference in yardage is NOT that great. Many "reputable" members on various sites have said that the XR clubs were defintiely GREAT clubs and long. Go and hit what you feel is going to make the game more fun (unless you are playing official US tourneys). :smile2: But in regards to your shafts, they too make a huge difference in how well you will hit either of those clubs, so choose accordingly. I hit the XR03 with a Speeder 757 combo and was one of the most solid set ups I have hit. Liked it better than the Mitsu combo. Hope this helps and Good Luck!!!!!
  5. ANYONE :wah: ?
  6. I KNOW SOMEONE HAS ONE OF THESE!!!!
  7. WHAT ARE PRICES IN US DOLLARS?
  8. Looking for friend - R7 TP 9.5 Fuji Six Stiff, full weights, headcover, new or excellent condition, pictures if available (retail head). Thanks in advance for the help.
  9. I KNOW SOMEONE CAN HOST PICS OUT THERE!
  10. PMs Replied - sorry could not send pics earlier, my email was acting up. Will send pics ASAP - is there someone who can host my pics for me? Thanks :smile2:
  11. I have the above putter in a 34". The putter is in MINT condition and does not have any dings or scratches. Would say Brand New but used a couple of rounds. Definitely a collectors putter. Has been sitting in my extra bag for a couple of years now and thought someone might be able to put this to use. BONUS - comes with autographed Inspired By Sergio headcover by Scotty Cameron himself and have the pictures to prove it. He was at a So Cal golf shop over Masters weekend and I waited in line to get the autograph. Like I said a RARE find with the putter to match. I have PICS of both upon request. Will throw in a brand new Pro Platinum headcover for those who don't want to use the autographed one. 300 obo - someone has to want a gem!!!! :surprize: Don't let this one slip by.

Is there a R5 staff bag also? or is this a R7 or R500 series?
  13. Cool that is what I thought, but you never know what pops up out there!! Sometimes when you think you have seen everything, here comes another MORE RARE set that has another characteristic to them. It is the never-ending quest to TRY to keep up with "HOING WORLD" :smile2: Robbie, I know you do a pretty good job in that field!
  14. Robbie, sorry need to clarify, I was referring to the pockets in the back of the club. I know it is much mnore rare NOT to have the milled pockets on the back of the club. My heads have FORGED stamped but to do not have milled faces. I think there are sets out there that have FORGED stamped and have milled faces.
  15. Like I was saying my original thread, I understand the rarity of the heads AND was not trying to bash anyone who had these irons, but was trying to find out if there were any other diffrences besides the finish. Also I understand that some people might feel that retail irons are as good as TOUR irons BUT there are physical differences between the heads such as forging type, finish, and head weight. So my point being, I was trying to see if there were diffrences like these from the Black MB's and the other types of TOUR MB's, not debate the value of the heads. Sorry if I was misundertood :smile2:
  16. Then they MUST be GREAT irons :smile2: Glad to see they are working out for you - sweet sticks and was sorry to see them go :wah:
  17. Just out of curiosity - other then the color of the heads, what makes these heads soooo rare and desireable? They say "Coin Forged" and NOT "FORGED" and have millings in pockets. I do like the way they look (don't get me wrong this is NOT a post to BASH these clubs - just trying to educate myself) but I see people talking on various posts saying things about the performance differences (More solid/better performing) and I don't see where this comes from. What keeps the price of these heads SOOO high? Are these 3x black oxide finished from TM? Can't anyone have their TOUR MB's refinished and have the same club? Are the differences only cosmetic? If anyone could shed some light, it would be much appreciated! :smile2: Don't get rubbed the wrong way if you have these heads - I think they look GREAT!
  18. WOW B - great set there! TOM is top rate seller and woud do business with him anytime - can't go wrong with him. :smile2: Would have liked that PROTO though!
  19. I hear ya! The never ending SAGA continues and probably won't be the last time either :wah:
