Chris, I know the 247 are forged in Japan but I thought the Plus forged irons are forged in China.

If they're the CB247, that's great. By the initial looks of the 09 X-drive, I'm guessing these will end up being the J36. Hope I'm wrong but sad if it's true.

Funny, I found the MD-6 to launch lower than the BB (both USM and JDM) and similar to the overall flight of the TM Rombax 75 found in the Burner (105 SS). The MD-6 is the smoothest compared to the other two. Don't even waste your time on the TM Rombax 75 and unless you're getting the JDM BB, just get the MD-6.

Haven't tried the Z-series but just tried the MD-7 in a NanoV 15 degree last night and it was the best feeling 3w I've tried to date. Not crazy about Yonex but I'm pretty sure it was the shaft;P

I know this thread is a little old but does anyone else have some input on these? I absolutely love the design of the head but not sure I can handle them after reading the above posts. So a 9-10 handi shouldn't be playing these? How about some real pics, anyone have any?
