The 207 Epon wedges, The AF range come with less bounce if you dont like your 58 degree 208 kgx you could look at one of those as a replacement.

Braced vs Flexed
Hey Brett I live in a very small town here in lancashire uk. Its based a valley of about 5 square miles. The ribble valley. i live on oneside of the valley between a 9 hole golf course with very small greens.and on the other side of me is the 18 hole course these both being parkland style courses. Now on the top of oneside of the valley is the mackensie course.Nelson Golf Club.which is again parkland and a real peach! Now on the top of the otherside of the valley is a heath course that really gets the weather, strong winds hard rain etc, this is called Burnley Golf Club and has been used as on open qualifing venue in the past. Its a short course but believe me it plays alot longer due to the eliments. One particular par 3 may require a pitching wedge oneday and the following day you could be pulling out the driver!!!!! I took an old friend out up there in 2004 as a birthday treat for him.I placed a pitching wedge on the front of the green at 184 yards!!! windy!!!!!!! Tony doesnt play that often so he played a 5 iron which he topped caught the edge of the rough gorse realising the ball and rolling in to the hole!! YES he still reminds me everytime he see,s me!!!! So basically their is lots of golf to play in this area although the sun doesnt really show its face to often!! but we all get out their anyway!! G

With every swing I,m loving this game more and more!! After crashing my motorbike and wrecking my shoulder its been an up hill struggle for the past few years.....Ive stuck in there worked at it through the pain the good days and the bad ones too!! I can honestly say im swinging it like a trooper!!!!! total domination of the golf ball!! as you can tell.....I,m really happy!! Ive never driven the short par 4,s since the accident and to be honest thought i never would but hehe hard work has seen me get there........and great advice from the meastro Brett Smith Thanks again!

I also get frustated by club cluster in the golf bag. im currently using a sun moutain pencil style bag its only got 2 dividers and im pretty shocked as the stand bag i had was much more frustating. The best stand bag i have owned was made by ogio the divider section was the best ive used to date. the bag lasted years but the ring that held the strap got rusty over time and gradually grated through the strap. this then opened the door for a new bag i chose a taylormade lightweight stand bag but that didnt last the course of time and frustrated the hell out of me with club cluster!!! maybe one day i will splash out on a more exotic jdm bag it will have to tick all the right boxes though! New driver first though

Driver Loft Question
I don,t know how much truth is in this so you may have to take it with a pinch of salt. I read a report stating that pros are now able to benifet from higher loft drivers with the evolution of the graphite shafts. i saw a video link dont hold me to this but,i think it MIGHT of been on the golfbug site? memory has failed me? It could of been luke donald getting fitted on a launch monitor. One thing for sure i do know is that Brett,s statment is key, its all about the angle of which you sweep the club through the ball. Braced vs Flexed
Hey brett I,m sure i could stretch to some good old english fish and chips!!! If you every visit the uk let me know in advance and we could eat fish and chips. And play some golf!!! my area is ram jam packed with golf course theirs even a Mckenzie course on the other side of town about 2 miles away!!. its not a long course but is it is a beautiful, small greens and challenging approach shots!.you also get lots of wildlife on their too.Deer, foxes, etc but leave the guns at home hehe.they arent allowed here in the uk!!! Thanks again Brett

Braced vs Flexed
Thanks brett for your time and knowledge!!!!! I was out their in the evening practising your sugestions........What great informative advice!!! firstly my iron shots flew much higher which was a great surprise!!!! i couldnt resist getting the driver envolved and on the 9th hole,i left my drive 20 yards short of the green in wet humid conditions ball had very little run if any!! Many thanks i will keep up the work and hopfully get my game back where it was before i ripped my right shoulder of the collar bone in a motorcycle accident a few years ago! ON the 3rd hole which is a very short par 4 of 320 yards i knocked my 3 iron past my playing partners 3 wood,i know it all aint about distance but the ball flew true straight arrow like and fizzed straight down the middle Their is a saying here in england when your realyy happy about something and its "smiling like a chesire cat" Well i hope when the weather clears up i can get out their again and put these new moves in to practice again. many thanks brett one very happy G smith

New irons and how to protect them-
Golf clubs are for hitting balls. Not sitting pretty in your bag massaging your ego! Just try to practise on lush grass or make sure to check for stones and grit on the matts at the driving range Also swing within yourself concentrating on quality of strike and not distance. The distance will come with the practise. Ive found that distance finds you, well thats what my old coach used to say? hehe good look with your new bats!!

Braced vs Flexed
Hi Brett I spent most of 2005 studying hogans book. It changed my game to some extent instead of having a slight fade with the driver(badshot slice) I now draw the ball slightly and on my bad shot hit a low hook! Would this be a sign of being to handsy in the release of the club? or are the shafts to weak or strong? Im a consistant striker of the ball Thanks G

Ideal club specifications
The irons that best suited my game and swing style were TAYLORMADE 300 FORM FORGED. here are the specs ir loft lie SW bounce,offset,shaft length,flex 3 /21° /59.0°/ D3 /0°/ 3.9mm /38.75"/ 5.0 rifle 4 /24° /60.0° /D3 /0.5° /3.65mm /38.25" /5.0 rifle 5 /27° /60.5° /D3 /1.0°/ 3.4mm /37.75"/ 5.0, rifle 6 /31° /61.0°/ D3 /1.5° /3.15mm /37.25" /5.0,rifle 7 /35° /61.5° /D3 /2.5°/ 2.9mm /36.75"/ 5.0,rifle 8 /39° /62.0° /D3 /3.5° /2.65mm /36.25"/ 5.0,rifle 9 /43° /62.5° D3 /4.5° /2.4mm 35.75" 5.0, 6.0,rifle PW /48°/ 63.0° D4 /5.5°/ 2.15mm /35.50"/ 5.0,rifle Now as you guys at TSG specialize in the high quailty JDM clubs etc.I was wondering what JDM irons you could recommend that would be very close to these specs. I miss those clubs dearly would love it if TSG could deliver a class set of irons.that will deliver the goods out on the course. Looking forward to your recomendations. COme on T you must have something on this one

The Trend of "too stiff"
Brett i really like how you explain things.easy to understand yet getting the key points across. I once tryed a V2 stiff shaft in my 905t titleist and my game fell to pieces. To me that shaft was way to stiff "boardy" with no feel,i could,nt of found the clubhead with a radar

Miura Blades -- What's the best shaft option?
MY adice regardings shafts in any club is to go and get fitted using a launch monitor.most modern places will also let you hit balls on the practice ground too. so you can feel and evaluate your shots and see how good the club fitters skills are. Experience the difference its money well spent!

JDM confusion EPON MIURA
Do the Epon have the face milled like the yururi? I,ve only seen a picture and it wasnt that clear Also do the different coloured coatings on the Epons provide different feeling or spin levels? which of the two (Gekko,Epon)would you say is the provides the most ability to hit various dirfferent shots I.e knockdown punches and flopshots etc. sorry about all the questions but i need the input. Thanks

JDM confusion EPON MIURA
Golf37 HOW DARE YOU!!!! Range balls hehe not on my clubs!!! I live right in between a 9 hole golf course and an 18 hole course, both are parkland courses and hold a little to much water for my liking. But i have the option to just pop over there and work on things, its just unplayable in the worst of the winter months. IM sure ive read that the gekko cnc wedges are made of 25c and the epons softer 20c or im i getting things mixed up? Thanks

JDM confusion EPON MIURA
Thanks coops !!! whats all this about clubs being forged in different countries. japanese clubs being forged in china?? and international ones in the endo factory.......surely this is untrue!!! Golf37 thanks for the input! I,m also looking to upgrade my wedges to something a little more exotic. chakara production model yuyuri gekku cnc epon 208 kxg what i know so far about this wedges chikara "i know nothing about these other than they are beautiful" epon "super soft spins up nice but not over aggressive" yururi cnc gekko "not as soft as epon but spins the ball like, no other peeling the cover of the ball" any input ? Thanks
