I would like to try it just for kicks, I'm already playing the Af-tours, but I want to hit the improved version of the Af-301s.

I miss my AF-301s a lot too, I regret selling them (currently playing the Tours). I hope the new set is just as good, if not better. The AF-302s don't look as aesthetically appealing to me as the 301s. Because the AF-302 is a direct replacement of the AF-301, do you think that the prices will drop on the older model?

Is there any real change between the AF-301s and AF-302s? Any improvements since the last model?

I just received my Epon AF Tours about 2 weeks ago that I got built from the Mobile Golf Lab. The blades are definitely some of the most forgiving. The last 2 rounds I played were in the mid to high 70s. Ever since I switched to the clubs, I dropped a few strokes. The KBS tour 5.5 shafts really complement the clubs well. To be honest though I have lost yardage with these clubs due to the weak lofts compared to my older players cavities. I will post a review soon. Phil

I just ordered a set of Epon AF-Tours, so when they come in, I'll make sure to chime in on this topic.

I just realized but that "top secret" picture is a blurred out driver, and it looks like I can see the Epon gold "E" logo on the driver along with the "EPON" font running across the bottom. Im guessing this is the new 2010 driver :)?? Chris can you tell us what Epon is releasing this coming year besides a new driver?

Hi guys im just wondering when Epon will release their new players cavity back to replace the AF-301 irons. Is this just a myth, or is it actually confirmed by Epon? If so what time do you think it will be available. My irons are really worn in (AF-301's) and I want to replace them with the AF-Tours, but I want to wait and see what Epon has to offer for their new models. Thanks

Isn't TM japan a few years ahead of the US TM? So it would make sense if these look like the japan versions.

No I think what happened was that they raised them, and then dropped them if I'm not mistaken.

Hi guys was browsing the Epon club line and realized all the prices dropped. Did Epon drop their prices? The wedges, irons, and drivers are cheaper for right handed golfers. This is great. Anyways does anyone have input on the new irons to replace the af-501s and af-301s that are coming this fall? phil

Thanks for all the input guys: I've narrowed down my selection of drivers to the Epon AF-101, TS 901, and the Yonex 450D. I have read lots of reviews on the Epon and TS 901, but I haven't been able to find any information on the Yonex 450D besides that Ryo plays it and that its very long. Does anyone know about it? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again guys! phil

Okay guys I have a budget of $550 to spend on a new Japanese Driver and I've been looking at some of the Japanese drivers on Ebay and on the forums. I believe my Nike Sumo is getting pretty old, so I wanted to replace it with a Japanese Driver. Im deciding on either the Yonex 450D or the Tourstage 901 driver, or the older Tourstage 445 or 460cc X drives. Any opinion or suggestions, which driver is the longest and has the best feel? Feel free to suggest any type of drivers. I would consider an Epon driver, but they are just too darn expensive! Thanks, phil

Thanks for the reassurance guys. I was never aware on how good the counterfeiters were getting after seeing some pics of AP2's on Golfwrx. It makes sense that they wouldn't counterfeit Epon because like everyone said there not known. Thanks again.

By the way I just checked all my clubs 5-PW, none of them had serial numbers on them -___- Now I'm really paranoid.

Hey guys I've been reading around about how there have been many fake/counterfeit golf clubs going around on Ebay and such. For example the AP2's have been cloned by the Chinese and their are multiple fake sets going on the Bay. I was looking at a thread on Golfwrx and I was amazed on how real the fake AP2s looked compared to the real legit ones. It really got me paranoid about my AF-301's for some reason. I'm 99% they are legit, but I just have to make sure because I just get paranoid about these types of things. I got my clubs off some guy on Golfwrx and I was just wondering how I could make sure they were real? thanks, phil

Hey guys thanks for all the replies! I got a set of excellent conditioned AF-301s 5-PW for a good price and have been playing with them all winter. I love the way they feel, look, and fly with the NSPRO 1150 stiff shafts. I have to tell you guys though, I like these better than the Miuras. I have 2 sets now :). I was reading some threads on how people could get their clubs refinished in different materials. The copper finish is certainly beautiful and I was wondering how much it cost to get your a club redone by Epon? Hey I was also wondering how thick the finish on the 301's are because if I get them refinished will all the nicks and bag chatter come out? Thanks guys phil

Hey guys this is my first post! Recently I have been craving the Epon AF-301s, something about the Epons just makes me really want them. I've read all the reviews and everyone says these are great and have feel like no other iron. Currently, I have the North American Miura CB-301s and they hit and feel great, but I always come back to look at the Epons and wish I bought those instead for some reason. Plus the deals on TSG are great. They just look awesome and there designs look like they perform great. Which would you prefer or which would you say is the "better" iron? phil
