  1. I'll take the VP90 pull. PM me with your paypal account. Thanks, Bill
  2. The clubhead has more to do with launch angle and spin than the shaft. Shafts can only fine tune spin and launch angle.
  3. This set is in great condition (8 / 10)! 3 - PW, Rifle shafts (no shaft bands, but I think they are 6.0s Flighted... They feel very close to my 5.5s that were hardstepped in the short irons to 5.8), GP Victory Ribbed Grips. I'll need to measure but I think the 5 iron is 38". Lofts appear standard and lies appear 1* flat. Chrome is perfect everywhere, except where noted. Here are the features of this set: 1. Lehman Box Toe Grind 2. No Serial Numbers 3. Mirror Chrome Finish 4. 2mm Offset (which is fairly rare) 5. No Stampings on Hosels (very rare... most 2mm sets have "TL2mm" stamped on the hosels) 6. These belonged to Touring Pro Brad Fabel The 3, 4, 9 and PW have a slight leading edge grind on the heel (pretty cool you can actually see the Miura copper underlay!! ). According to someone in the know, these are worth up to $800 in this condition (I'd rate them 8 / 10). Selling for $775!! plus $12 insured shipping in the lower 48. :ohyeah: PICS!!!
  4. Thanks to all for your help identifying this set. Here are the features of this set: 1. Lehman Box Toe Grind 2. No Serial Number 3. Mirror Chrome Finish 4. 2mm Offset (which is apparently fairly rare) 5. No Stampings on Hosels (apparently very rare... most 2mm sets have "TL2mm" stamped on the hosels) 6. These belonged to Touring Pro Brad Fabel The 3, 4, 9 and PW have a slight leading edge grind on the heel (pretty cool you can actually see the Miura copper underlay!! ). According to some in the know, these are worth up to $800 in this condition (I'd rate them 8 / 10). Not sure if I'll sell them or not, may just hang on to them! PICS!!!
  5. These don't have ANY hosel stamps!
  6. Yeah, I should clarify, I didn't mean the smoothie would balloon, I've just heard from reliable sources that it launches higher than the same loft ridgie.
  7. really? i thought it was the other way around....thanx :blackeye: I could be wrong, but everything I've heard says the smoothie's launch higher.
  8. The 200 Tour smoothie's launch higher than the ridgies.
  9. I have a 200 Tour 17 that was bent to 16 by the tour van and the ball flight, for me, is high and flat... certainly no ballooning.
  10. Just curious if anyone has ever seen a set a Lehman Box Toe 300 Forged irons with 2mm offset (more than standard retail offset)? How rare are these sets?

Hoffman forged the original "T" 681 irons for Titleist. And, Stites is a designer, not a manufacturer. He designs the nike clubs, but I doubt he operates the press at the foundry! I don't know if Miura forges Tiger's clubs, but the Nike blades do bear resemblance to the North American Miura blades.
  12. OMG this club is soooo solid, unfortunately I don't have the swingspeed to handle it. :wah: As stated in the description, this is a 14* TOUR ISSUE Rescue Mid with a VERY, VERY, RARE Aldila NV Prototype 95s in TP graphics!! Club says 2FW on the bottom, no TP flag on the toe and no serial number. The shaft flex is between an S and X. Overall club length is 42 1/4". This club belonged to Kenny Perry, and I'm told it was a player last year... although it looks to have been played only a couple rounds. I'd call it 8.5 - 9 / 10, condition wise... just normal wear for this type of club. I'll add pics to this post tonight. Looking for $275 shipped in the lower 48. Buyer pays actual shipping elsewhere.
  13. They are not doing it to change the swingweight, more the static weight or balance point. If you're trying to change the swingweight, add the tape directly behind the sweetspot for the best neutral results.
  14. Price Drop!!!
  15. Discounts if you buy two or more shafts!!
  16. Agreed, Todd is a great guy and the only one with access to new, in the plastic, Tour and non-Hogan Betti's. Pricey, but the service is worth it.
  17. TONS of interest so far, thanks guys! International guys, I'll split the shipping with you on one or more shafts!!

2g placed at the head is 1 sw pt on any length club
  20. i got you - pretty much the same understanding i have of f.p. but i don't get how it's an indication of offset. take a set of irons like the gd cavitybacks where the 9I has a f.p. of 4.2 and a lot of offset but the 3I has a lower f.p. of 3 and has minimal offset. if an f.p. of 0 indicates a fully offset club then the opposite would be true - right??? The FP specs of the GD's sound right, but by the true definitions of FP and Offset you can't have it both ways. FWIW, Miura 1005 "straight neck" model has 4.5mm FP, while the "goose neck" model has 3.5mm FP. Not sure what the offset measurement is, but the "goose" is definitely more offset than the "straight neck".
  21. Face progression and offset are measuring the same thing differently. Face progression is defined as the position of the leading edge of the clubface in relation to the centerline of the hosel. The higher the number (3.5mm ~ 4.5mm) the more face progression the club has. 0 face progression would mean the leading edge of the clubface is in the same vertical plane as the hosel's centerline (which we would normally refer to as an offset position). Offset is defined as the position of the leading edge of the clubface in relation to the leading edge of the hosel. They both measure the same thing only with different reference points... ie, centerline vs. leading edge of the hosel.
