  1. osc., if he dont want those ill ahve them pls.
  2. the zy head has my attention i think. if it performs better than the 435 its a winner. i like that look of that head shape. with a 7d distance shaft it cud be close to "the one"
  3. well this makes perfect sense to me, Craigs shaft was designed for him and his and my swings are totally differnt in every way. but i hit his custom built syard 388 / 7d as good as any driver ive ever hit. dont ask me how , but none our other drivers suit the other person 1 iota , t his one tho ,is special

ahh yea i have a spare one ,shaft wont suit you but i can pull that no probs
  6. these are aboslutely senstional wedges. i think i ego t4 sets of them they are close to the most versatile wedges ive hit, nad htey go high and drop and spin. these areNOT low bullet type flight they are full tilt. full spin. u dont need a lob wedges with these. can NOT recomend thes highly enough for some bizare reason here they were not popular O/S but , they are everywhere over here. there nothing negative about them i can think of what so ever.
  7. ive used that prgr red it worls perfectly well , idenatical numbers to the big fancy one at my range that cost he maboua a billion yen ti=o instal land hence forth charge us all more per ball! Chris is spot on, know ur heads and shafts spereratly then mix and match thne ur almost assured to get the best set up
  8. love that extra thick muscle, makes me think i really want to give it a giddy up. cant wait to try these.
  9. thats a variation on normality. lovely set.
  10. hahahaha. yea, thought u might see the similarities there.., i like the look of the a-grind more tho, few more angles, bit squarer. i hit the non r1 nad it was fine ,so this ,( if it is made in japan ) shud be even better. i think ill be gettign a set soon. think id get thee over the blades actually..,
  11. ooooooooooooooooooh yea..... THIS has my full attention!
  12. you lnow ,i ve never asked him, i just give him my head and it comes back perfectly built. ill ask him next time im down. id presume its glue tho. bec the feel is never dampened
  13. Kurt its weird. its not bad..... no way is it bad but i dont get that .."oooooooh yea boy" gripping sensation, that im used to getting with my other sets with the same shafts.... but id rate these RIGHT at the top of playing irons. these IMO are better looking playing set than the yamahas and tourstages that ive played of recent years. make no mistake these are a terrific set of heads. i got a cpl of ripsnorters in yesterday that were amgic, but the head was dulled. i think it might need a differnt set of shafts to heighten the impact a bit. but im loath to change them as they are. do i hear 3 sets calling and a set of NS stx ?????
  14. ooooooooooooooooook... ive had enough time with the srixon new model to shed some highs and lows. first feel.. NOT good enough! yup, cant beleive it, while its not bad , nor poor , nor anyhting bad, its just DULL. lifeless. ive got 2 sets one with GDs200 tour issue design tuning, and one with NS 2g18s (modus130s) both are no where near as enjoyable to hit as my masdas and aftours. but life not all bout feel!!!! these perform, the v-sole is a great design, it makes hitting off harder surfaces a joy and clipping it clean wiht a forward lean really drive thru the ball.. there is minimal offset nad lovely looking rounded neck line. frames the ballbeautifully, and the slightyl larger blade head gives you plenty of confidence to hit the shot u envisage. they are not quite as theatrical as msaller baldes, but thats a good thing, they are like a new model aftour in forgivness and playability, but with a duller feel whichis really quite "weird" bec last yrs model are as soft as a masrshmallow. flight on these is LOW... oh yea, its low. i was driing into these eystaerday with the modus130s going waht the ???? i was epxecting a high drop shot, no way these are piercing . they sit and grip beautifully as well. was the opposite fo what i was expecting to see, esp with the NS shafts. and esp as i was using the asme shafts in my idbl prgrs alst week, the diff is unbeleiveable! cud not have had a better day out thatyesrerday to tet these out. these are LINKS irons if ive ever hit a set. they wil be my sydney set or hawaii set for sure. love the heads, love the design, love the flight, but im so confused on the feel. anyway they are a vastly differnt look to my other blades and a fantastic addition to the roster. maybe a softer shaft is called for??????????????????????????????????
  15. doent really matter wht u use as long as u get the best results possible, chiro come down form 47 to 44.5 over here, that takes some doing..!
  16. i think its beceause........................ the vast majority of clubs in japan are built for palyers in japan that are terribel golfers and only want to hit it long to say hey i hit 250. they cant do that with 44 inch drivers in a milion years remebering gof is NOT a sport , its a meeting on a golf course. so 47 inch 184 gram drivers abound!!! that why my builder is such a wizard, gettitng one of these head to perfom at 44.5 takes imagination and skill. 90% of golfers here, id guess... cant hit the ball over 90mph. short drivers DONT exist at all. the common length is now 45.25 -45.5 inch. its gettign hard to find 45! ive got a 46.5 inch shingo driver and iahve t choke down 2 inch to hold it, it goes beautifuul, in winter , i hardly use anyhting else, but it takes such an effort to bag it, its just looks wrong
  17. wow, this is interesting. i do all my testing on the course . i never use any monitors to test anyhting, what ever hits the fairways the longest and most , i use. there is a LM pretty close to my place, i shud build one to see how it goes vs my build and try /die method. not built a high launching driver in eons, ive bene going the other way! hihger lofted tend to get lost way more than low burners for me. yetserday hit the egg7 again, 9* closed face i hit 11-14 long enough to get me on the par5s in two. ok. ill build one, so how does one go about gettign the info to build a high driver . id use the diamana X 70 shaft for low spin, i guess id need a realy high launch head. prob is here i dont think there is any..!
  18. Grab it u cant go wrong with them for price now.
  19. excellent feedback. agree with you 100% on the a-grind and the egg. wish there were more of these posts flying about.!
  20. yea feel is fine, its pretty nice actually , its kind of heavy but crisp, good thing is when u miss the centre it tell you.but not in a negative way.
  21. not foamed. diamana X is what ive got in mine but its only 60s , not a good match. wud be mch ebtter served with the 70s cut to 44.5 or less. 9.5* shud be fine , this is seriosuly LOW. weight is 202 gram. mine needs tweeking. im thinking of going 44 inch with a GDp9003x.
  22. forgive my igonorance, but can someone just give me an idea of who piretti is in the putter world. his putters are all over the place here these days ? they certianly look the goods!
  23. 388 is excellent in all forms sound feeel look.
  24. well the 435 u wont like either id say. the egg 1 , if u like feel.. go that. its also very light sub 190 but my wizad builder made mine sing like a soprano. the thing is unreal and stil lahs beautiful feel and sound. of course it cud be the shaft?????
