  1. differnt kellte of fish the nabla tours are a rounder easy general play iron that are just lovely to hit the idbl abit more player. the nabla are kinda well almost t like epon 302s rather than af-tours but thinner and slightly less off set, similar feel if u remeber the TM tp 2009 r9 irons ( made for japan only OF COURSE...) then they are pretty reminescent of those . very similar styilng , i did a review on these a while back but of course no one played attention bec thereSO many better ones out there .................... right..........,!1!! so, maybe just a bit easier than the TM r9, which are a pretty player esque set for a soft sponge feeling iron set but no one wud know this bec they werent bought by anyone . these re magnificent irons input design by sir nick. but what wud he know. get a set try them out . . the nabla tours are like these
  2. no i didnt do a review on them ,theres no point any more, i just put them quietly in the bag about 18 months ago and nothing else (until now ) has got a look in since. ive got 6 sets of them with differnt shafts NS Pro DPs---- NS pro modus3 120x... TT monacco S.... NSpro .2g18s..... NS proSTx...... ,NSpro ORA s basically bec no one pays attention to Prgr . aparently they are just average joe stuff... as for the lovely new model nabla tours, they have a just a bit more off -set than the IDBLs. i think im going put the SP blue into mine bec they are a slighty bigger rounder look. easier on the eye. more general that specific, the SP blue might bring the flight down just a tad. rediculously nice for hititng off soft fariways the IDBL have ZERO off set, i mean nothing , there no irons that have less than these that ive hit, and that includes all the blades. i can not recomend these highyly enough if ur prepared for just a bit more sole width (esp on the PW) not much mind you but ull notice it vs blades for about 1 second. the best thing about this set is the edge relief makes them unbeleivebaly good for playing on harder shorter grass like in sydney, i was really pleased with how htey went on that grass. bec i know how good they are here on soft stuff. they are consdierably less than the yamaha tours FYG
  3. hahahahahaaah good luck like ur thinking tho
  4. oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh no its not any more .... check my sig. best irons ive EVER used .period.
  5. These one i will agree are very good simplemand feel amazing But the yamaha black forged from 2008 are better and i very much disagree withthemvokeys i think they are too light to thin And just a very generic wedgein comparison to many others. Syard bolds forminstance whist, not every ones cup of tea atke some beating as well The ones above myplaying partnerbhas about 10 sets of as spares hell never use anyhting else
  6. thats an intersting project. and a JDM not MIJ hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
  7. rebilt this with a diamana B end of chat .
  8. im still a way off on this right now im basically not 100% on what head to use. spoken with them a lot and have al the specs laid out perfectly but not sure if ,what i wana actually do yet il get one but not yet pretty sure others will go before me
  9. yea i think i might take these with me to sydney next month. i have a ffeeling they will be extremely good on the harder witner turf. the softness will add some nice feel to the winter marbles.
  10. wow epon 302s........solid! that is a lovely presented bag.. now.........., to just get those woods JDM...................,
  11. make sure................. u bring this with you in august!!!
  12. i played the catalina classic yesterday the finish is just absolutely amazing on both of these. its a soft sticky feel , and the lightest milling gives a slightly firmer feel at impact. the catalina was played for 9 holes and a bunch of time on the praccy green, not a sinlge mark o nthe sole. its just magnigficent. head weight to 360 plays 33.5 inch 68* lie 4* loft cant ask for more. made a cpl of nice par save 1 putts with it and got very close most putts. scotty pistolero grip black with red writing. yup this is firmly on top of looks and it plays splendidly, the club pro took it out yetserday and just said. "dood nice flatty, where did u get this ? " special order i said.
  13. ahhhhhhhh sorry a bout this i missed this question. a tough decision for you bec i know u love and prob need the extra weight of the p9. id NEVER say antyhing against the p9. but, if uwant a bit more disatance and a feel thats just WOWSAH..! put the quadra in it . its splitting hairs really bec hte p9 is the king sorry i cant actually answer this definitively for you. bec they are both so good. for control use the p9 for kaboooooooooom use the f fex
  14. this is one HELL of a driver . its as good as anything gets.

i doubt anyone else has hit them. but i hoped they we re a more pro esque bold. they are easily as nice to hit as anything.. anything ever. mayeb better. that huge bulbous COG is just amazing at impact. spin is absolutely not an issue. neither is opening them up to play cutesies with them. from the sand the 60 is fabulous. plop stop drop spin sit. can toe it easily as well. fro mte rough they cut thru no probs, the only thing i had a problem with is off the centre of the fairway!!!!! i just got too deep with them for my swing or id never ever sell them
