  1. oooh yea for got about that that was the crazy f18 @ 17.5* i think it is , or maybe 18.5* with a diamana stinger , heck of a club,
  2. oh yes......... thats got a thread f its own,
  3. interesting designs. they prob wont pop everyones corks.
  4. nope.., i used that enough here to know what it is like, and i wanted to test the crazies in a solid workout, bec i want bagging them much ere at all , i figured they wud be a perfect aussie build, and i was spot on. the xv is firmly in bag here for japan, with the ryoma f3 as my fws now. unless its windy the nthe crazzies go back in think im fw set now
  5. Wel. After using the craxy f series in sydney and the eggs The thinking was there isnt much if any differnce in distance for me. On course. The egg is of course much higher and a little easier to hit , and when middled properly ,well one shot inparticular at NSW par5 13th into the green for 2 was acareer fw shot im never gonna better that one that forsure. But overall the crazies got by far the most bag time and they were theones easilyleast affected by the elements ,in fact when it was windy and it was pretty much most days they were theonly fw that got the bag look in , either a stong 13.5 deg or the weaker15.5 ,which of the two isprob the best all round. Easily used if froma tee but the 13.5 from atee is adefinate driver replacent thta club is plenty long and plenty strong. These might not get as much airtime in jpn bec of the flight issues and LAck of roll, here but for had pancourses these were all that cud be ever needed plus some.
  6. Bit more time with these back home over, chrissy Gave them good, time in the bag in comps on very different types of turf hard dry fast stuff Well they certainly didnt let the tourstage name down one iota. Easynto getunder and lob up and the 52 gets its fair anount of zing The60 was particulary easy to lob but it didnt generate the amount of spin i was thinking it might iguess thats down to playing it in rotation with non cor ones tho Im sure ifmi just used these alone they wud be fine best thing about these was the eas in which u can get funky with them, open them up to all kinds of intersting angles and hit a reallyvaried array of shots, i think of all the wedges i used these might have been the most versatile all round the52 is as comfy to pitch20 yards and zing stopmas it is from 100 with a cut hop right. Id def plub for a set of nswv shafts in these or a set of the dg spinners to just give them a bit more life But overall i cud / wud bag these alone for a long time Top stuff these wedges gents

  8. Gotta be close the best presenting set ive ever seen
  9. Yea i just found the biccieri website and had a snoop around Hes very pro this style I gotta give it a whirl now
  10. last nigth i went to the range with a set of boccieri secret grip , gripped wedges. i have to say i really realyl liked these grips ,look, feel and performance. it made the club feel totlly differnt. the swing weight was realy noticebaly changed. it seemed the balls i hit with them were much easier to keep on plane and swing true line thru the path, there really was a noticebale differnce in feel. only thing i wasnt really thrilled with was the light head at impact. diddnt feel like i cud generate a lot of guuuuuuuuuush on it. anyone else played these adn ur thoughts pls gents.. before i do a set of irons , im looking for more feedback
  11. yup it is indeed. one of the best holes imaginable. and what a top golfing destination , both those courses are seriosuly first class. right i waggled these r9s and they look really good in hand. bit fuller but almost no offset , wud be magnificent for japan turf mid summer
  12. ye gads. they look sensational , where was i when these were out! pls tell me some guys here have played them i cant bel im saying this but i think im getttign a set!
  13. hahahha yep. and my swing has become very mongtard esque. im working on correcting a very debilitating flaw over the winter. i watched a great playing lesson with the pros on golf channel with rococ mediate and his restyled swing , which wud suit my build ver ywell im going to do some hard studying over the next few weeks trying to moderate it a bit and get the club face sqaureer. thast been killing me in the driver dep, irons seem ok
  14. can not say enough positives about these babies. my fav shafts. thye plsy just on the heavy side but not boardy not fear inducing in the 3 and 4 . tough for me not to play them these days.
  15. i hit hem a few times , they ahave extra score lines ,same as the ishikawa model. which i LOVE!!! they are very soft feel and the ground sole makes contact on hard pan very easy. i drive KILLS his. i was so surprised he brought these out instead of hte yammy tours. but well im not anymore. these are really nice sticks
  16. lively discussions. are good... ........................ as long as it stays on topic..! of all these heads, i stil think........... the ryoma is the best overall. its got all the attributes i like, good looking at address. square face ( except for one of mine). great length, ease, and control. and a greta thuumpy feel. i always seem to gravitate to it when i really need pressure games ,like a comp or big money games. so thats gotta tell me its the no1 for me. and ive tried just about everyting....................................... the other fact i forgot to say was the kp-x is still prob the over all longest (inconsistant) head ive hit inconsistant bec its So anti left...... . when i frst found it i cud not beleive how fricken hard at impact it was nad how low and how solid it was , but u gotta be a round swinger , over the top and ur dead...! which is where i get killed with it at times. the 435 is consistantly the one i get the most yardage from and its got a degree of ease which is hard to ignore , it doesnt seem to be as punishing as the kp-x for mongtard swings and with the right shaft its a beauty. the boron shafts seem to suit this head really well. as did the labomba thing. but that i-drives typhoon thing............ well................ i had to hit it many many times to make sure it was what it was. and it is, it is just crazy long. feels weird, but well the results spoke for themselves. i was truely impressed. but lets just say one othe thing jeff didnt play it when the wind blew hard . nor when the ground was hard and fast, his trusty s-yard reigned supreme there. he hits that driver like its a 7 iron for consistancy, he out drove me numerous times and the flight with it was as perfeect as u cud want in the wind. that combo hes got the typhoon for carry and the syard for piercing is a knockout punch idont htink i saw him miss hit his a s-yard in 4 weeks. not one...! so horse for courses.
  17. spinach................. now thats a good idea, thast what i was missing out on back home...!
  18. point of fact. kamui was the longest of my armoury, cant deny it . heck of a driver
  19. no ive not seeen it either. the kp-x is stil a very big fav of mine. i didnt take it bec ive played it a lot and i wanted to try others this time. that wil get re used this year for sure. the 50 gram shaft was an enormous surprise. even tho it was def too whppy it wasnt by much. i didnt let up on a few drives and they went miles.it really has me thinking of gettign one in a slightly stiffer flex. and a bit shorter. well see. time for me to have a break from golf for a cpl of months nad rejig my bags for this year. bit of time of never did anyone any harm..!
  20. wudn let them go bud.... they dont come up much and they might be close the smoothest of all NS protos. think hard about that bec ill have the shafts if u dont want them. 100%
  21. crazy 435 9.5*--crazy la-bomba tour. square face. 323 gram. d3 swight.. 289 cpm. my second fav to hit driver. was for the most part pretty straight. distance was terrific. consistant length was very good. , misses as usual were blocks right, hardly hit htis left ever, even when i was trying to. just didnt wanna know about it ( except fopr thodd striaght pull fo course....!!!!!) played this in all conditions. form benign hot 42* c to 18* windy as hell. and for the most part i hit it very well. i knew ( and it proved to be true..) that the 45.25 inch on it wasnt suited to my swing, and as the tour went on..... the extra long drivers were getting sidelined for the shorter ones. but , and especially on nice days this was a really good driver. relly enjoyed its feel and its all over attributes. launch was LOW.. very low compared to the others i had and it prob suited the longer courses much better than the trickier ones. theres every probability ill take this in to get it shortened to 44.75 bec i really liked it. the shaft was my fav of all the crazies ive played in a driver.. was very happy with it. rate this set up very highly for guys wanting a very strong piercing flight very straight and with ability to get good roll out. this is as point shoot as u cid hope for. 8/10 TRPX D 9.5*--diamana X 70s this has been in my bag in JP for most of the last half of the season here with good reason. its higher launch and increased carry gave me a good advantage over my buddies here. once again, adn its no coincidence form JBEAM... it is all about aim kapoooooow! not much point trying to make this baby sing like a soprano. its just for accuracy. this was def NOT the longest of my drivers. but on more thna one occasion i pulled it out on tricky days, of which we had more than our fair share. and for the most i got it at its best. its easier to play than the crazy 435 labomba. (prob a lot to do with it being 44.875) but its not as long .i fancied this set up more on medium length courses. i played it on royal sydney and i found although i hit a prety decent amount of fairways.. i was left feeling a little under done. a cpl i hit i thought were "it" only t ofind .i was underwhelemed by the quality of the swing i put on it to where it ended up. saying that........... middle of the fairway aint a bad place to be..! but if i put that swing on a cpl of others i guarantee id be a club or two less into the green. i thought although this wasnth the longest set up it was prob the no2 in terms of accurayc. hence why in jp this was so good this year. accuray wheres theres very little roll out. id sugest this set up for guys wanting a higher flight with an ability to move it a bit left. JUST A BIT. and for the most . pretty stright and solid, this is a super solid all over build without excelling in any one department. def an all rounder MUCH more so than the above one.. 8.5/10 TRPX D waccine 88gts 44.75 x 330 x d3.5 hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. the beast. didnt use this that much bec i was tired. and sore, this is NOT the driver to use when ur like this this is the set up for a one off perfect day long ..... long...long........... course. when ur swinging at your best. i dont think i hit anything better on the rare occasions ........ WHEN........................... WHEN.............. i got this perfectly. basically............. its a BRUTE. iused to think the GD p9003x was the one, but this out does that. easily.... at my swing speed, this is JUST starting to ignite. i mean JUST. and its more like a flicker, than an ignition. its an 83 gram moose slayer...! if u have any kind of flaw that day this will kill you. u wont get it out past 200 yards. and it will roll on the floor killing ants let alone worms. when u do happen to get it on "the day" however.................... i dont think theres much more id rather hit. and i dont think id ever risk it in tricky conditions. howver.. when i play narita in JP.. it will take all my relove NOT to put it in the bag, it belongs in a glass case with the words . for use on days when a elephant needs slaying . feel is terrific. its smooth and easy but u really have to be faster than i to get the most out of it. bigger swingers ONLY.. and i think thye wud LOVE this set up the head shaft suit each other nicely. prob a nicer play htan the diamana X. but well not as consitant. this needs to be played at 44 inch! 8/10 epon zero 10.5*--diamana stinger proto 70s 44 x d2 x 323 the speccy.......... tried so many in this head with varying results form down right unplayable to pretty spot on, but nothing has stayed in it , i thought the 60s diamana X was the best one, nad it was .................. till now............... tipped 1/2 inch stinger what a combo! best feeling driver of all time. bar none. nothing ive hit is nice impoact including the crazy 80 ls noir. ths stinger blew it into oblivion. 44 inch....!!!! 44.... how can u playa driver aqt 44 inch?? well the answer is. get a cut down stinger nad a epon zero. i was SO nervous playinmg htis bec i miss it miles right when fk up but hte 3 games i played with it i dont hink i missed a drive.badly at all. distance as fine accuracy was fine ,but its real deal is the ease i cud swing properly with it . no choking down, no long handle. just a normal swing andi cud step on it nad it was perfect. played it in somw pretty solid puff and it was NO probs at all .into the wind i thought id get blown over like maiden on her wedding night.. but not so. (it appears hths maiden has been there before..!) li iked to play this more than everything but i didnt get enough time with it to really enjoy it and get confident, it was built the day i flew out. unlike all theo thers where id had significant time in games to know it. i still cringe aqbit with the pon but i can safely say this set up is even better for me than the diamana X 60s. i can go a bit harder at it with more confidence im not gonna loose it too badly right its not hte longest ive got but it sure is a heck of a driver for anything as it proved it self in all conditions. veyr happy with how it went recomend it for good consistant ball strikers . looking for somehting out of the ordinary. bed once u hit the screws with this, u wil have trouble picking up anyhing.. i m an anyhting ever again. i have a winter driver in this i assure you. 9.5/10 ryoma v-spec d1 9.5* 1/2 * closed.--GDp9003x 44.25 x 330 my sdyney keeper. THE driver i got to when i cant hit a ball. quite simply put. MY driver. in the company of all the others it was in this was EASILY........... my most consistant driver. EASILY. its not short in fact i hit the biggest drive of the tour o nthe last day at manl y with it. with a beautiful high draw. it was a mnonster. but thats not where its beauty layed. its beauty was in its versatility. when i played comp. i played this . when it was blowing a cyclone, i grabbed htis. when i was on longy there was only this. i can choke down on it and hit it 3 feet above the ground 250. or i can take the long handle and swing outta my shoes. its dont matter i wil never over power this nad i very very rarely miss it. bec its so short the way to play it is just swing smooth and easy and the club des the rest. distance was DEF NOT shorter by a margin than my others. and as for consistancy well bec mY SWING flaw is over the top chopchop right ths slightyl closed face helped me get it squarer and made it easier to draw. cant say enough about this combo its my allrounder in every possible condition. its floorless. im pretty sure tho if uhave a rounded swing this might be a bit toomuch . its not exaclty anti left,.if if u struggle with hooks then id avoid this set up. ifu like shorter drivers and slice the ball and like going hard at it tho, well t his might be a huckelebrry u cud enjoy as much as i do.its so good........................ i left the fricken thing at home..! 10/10 kamui pro nitro 10.5*---trpx tuale SX i-drives beast. HIGH.........WIDE............... HANDSOME. the longest driver ive hit. end of chat. !

i got it form a collector who is very friendly with RJB. i also bought another one which im very enamoured with... one of a kinds. i was thinking of keeping the shaft in this and selling the head. or sending it to golds for THE custom of customs... get it to 360 grams.. that is another option. the longer his stays the more golds is looking viable... i love thefeel and the head look and shape but its to light at 340 gram for me taste.
