  1. high launching very stiff. similar to the stinger in flight. 48mps = 70 s 50 mps = X 52-53 + mps = xx said the xx is crayz hard. good r eports from those that protoed it im getign one now tARiOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO..............!
  2. check the torque numbers on these things! thats the lowest ive ever seen 2.7 id consider very very tight 2.2 bloody hell!
  3. awwwww shucks and i was just getting used to the stingers! calling tario now!
  4. i bought it for this reason aswell, i didnt want it ,norexpect it to be a bomber ( the yonex) but i just didnt find i could do what i liked with it as well as other drivers i had, esp compared to the the jbeam 425 tour. the very pear shape as well ddint suit me like i thought it would . when i wasnt full on i was horrrible with it . the distance loss was extreme and i just thought it was a littel cheap. expecially compared to the nextage form 2009. love thta driver head.
  5. well ill def be there so be sure to say gday if u see me. im hard to miss in japan.
  6. whos ia acura is that he US honda? love up to the front of the front tyre not mad on the grill looks like some kinda batmobile
  7. u know what i mean right.... it feels like the ball sticks to the clubface while the shaft dends like a bow. then "kapow" off she goes. and i find always with a draw. larrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrve roddio..., the s7x is a differnt puppy ,that low, heavy and mean.
  8. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..., FINALLY someone else has found roddio.!!! yes the m7 is a high launcher and the S7 is a low launcher. as i said a while back......., anyone that has been making fishing poles for the last 30000 yrs must probably know a thing or 2 about carbon flex technology . all the roddios ive used are good , + they tend NOT to make unhittable railway sleepers , thier shafts i find are pretty theatrical and u can easliy play the higher flex if ur on the cusp. i have a cpl of thier pro release fairway shafts and they are magic, high launch as well the sling you get with roddio is unmatchable form the other makers. my playing patners here use them exclusively and the mack daddy of them all the shingo spec he comess out with every cpl of yrs is 100% carry. my mate collects these like i do stingers.. he uses the onoff- roddio m6s or shingo combo and he s found 20 yards over the last cpl of yrs, his swing stayed the same but his clubs suit his style perfectly his SW is about 100 mph. he wont touch anythng else now. darren if u want or are looking for another head then i suggest the yonex nextage 9* form a cpl of yrs back especially for barnbugle. i made this for longy-NSW-the lakes this and it was perfect. i made this and the 435 crazy and i gamed the yonex more. so good was it down there ilet it in oz ( GD p9003x) perfect for links 100% perfect.
  9. ive soft stepped in the past and i didnt like it , the shafts felt sloppy in the tip section. i got a lot of whip i didnt /coulnt control properly . i like a firm feel nad mid high flight in my irons the soft stepping didnt do it for me, im a hard stepper!@.
  10. the yonex nextage 430 imo is VASTLY superior to the 380 they released this season. i stil ahve my 430 i changed that uop thsi yr with the P9003x GD shaft at 43.5 inch and its absolutely super. used it a ton over chrissy this yr back home, was my driver of choice actually. the new model just looked and felt cheap to me, iwas gagging to get hold of it. i was dissapointed with it . the performace was ok ish , good, i got some good shots off wit hit ,but it lacked something. the 430 i revisited and i think is a much better head over all. i love yonex, i think they make top things over all
  11. ohhhh now they would make man turn around on a dime and re buy what he just sold!
  12. thanks pete but i dont need it it here this is specifiaclly for oz. i really could have used this in sydney this time i was driving the ball like miss daisy. worst driving ive ever done couldnt hit the bloody barn with a bazooka nah, i didnt get anywhere, i didnt cross the spit bridge this time except to play the lakes and NSW
  13. from m y experience id say the cray black ls 2 that was peerless, in hawaii last yr it was ludicrous . its a cpl of yrs old
  14. hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yes axiv V2 . god that thing is a monster of a shaft. stricker plays it. its hideous feel but incredible performance. i think i have one of these newer shafts the yellow thing in tour regular flex that i pulled from something ive even fotgotten are they japanese made owned. ? i havnt bothered trying these agn after i hit the V2 in a sasquatch and nearly committed my self
  15. thats mine mate.. send it ot mums place. ill get it shafted up next time im down. got JUSt the shaft for it as well. what u doing now? theres a good shafter in sydney, did a real top job on my irons over new yrs .., virge66 he goes by just in case .
  16. yes these are the ones...., these are the ones i have in stiff..... these are good....., pretty sure ull ike these .. the NS protos idont think will suit you, they go high. they are rare as hell. hardly ever come up. ever. i like the yamahas for cavity irons enormously, that will neve change.., but i just love baldes. nothing give the same experience as a well stuck 3 iron form the deck with a compact blade. after playing the srixons and the yonex agn. ah im kinda hoooked agn ill always have a set ( or 4) of yamahs just in case. and ill play these in mid summer in japan when the ground is like marshamallow carpet. and hooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooge divots are part and parcel of golf. then the yammies will just be srensational! as for modus.. id suggest u get them twice stepped. these are really good feeling shafts . realyl good. but not sure if others agree here but maybe just a little " flighty" lofty? heavenly?
  17. hhahahahha even if it is ill NEVER admit it. although i did have to admit last yrs thing , the r7 billion thing did go the straightest of all clubs i hit , just 30 yards short.. theres a spot for something like that tho. if ididnt re builkd my yonex nextage, that was next cab off rank
  18. 2 fi5s are the proto for the tour guys for the ns1150s , which as most who ahve hit htem know are very nice shafts indeed. , u can def see the similarities in these, and the tour protos, whixh are just much more . "muchier" they have a realyl differnt flex pattern, when u crunch in to them theres no warping or dispersion of energy , its instantaneous. its like hitting a crazy 80 compared to a TM stock r flex burner shaft. i find its like driving a subaru imprezza wrx against a skoda theres a differnce, the more u drive em, the more ucant so skoda any more. when u hit the same iron type with the two shafts incomaprison like i did yesterday. oh man. the "X" factor hard to describe ,but its the whole feeling. i guess its personal. but to me its like the dg dont or cant get a feeling of explosion, controlled explosion , evn the monacco dont get it. NS somehow get it. its all in the feel in yr hands, u know the second u hit it. i have 5 sets of proto shafts from NS which i believe might be right up there in the most of anyone the joys of living in japan. prob is for YOU old boy, is ur not ur average JOE , u would prob eat these shafts up. if i can hit em this well, then i presume paul casey prob found em too sof tor high or somewthing. and for you, i think ud find em to high. for me tho these are great. my ford GTO of shafts its all in the flex, theres no "soft spot" theres not weak point, theres no mushines, theres just pin point accuracy. and when i miss it it doesnt kill my arm as bad, or fly 4 fairways right or left. its tight like a tiger the isms are more compact and solid than the 5003s, the 5--3s are slimmer and more elngated, the isms pack more of a punch slightly , but oh yes, def there. the are def differnt to the 1957 that the US gets. ive had both. the isms are sharper. i prefer the isms super peening blue are the closest to the protos ive found, but hte blues areLOW laucnhers, most protos go high and fall. the blues go low and grip ironsets....., hmmmmmm off the top of my head 15 ish(?) all pretty tasty sets, some suit then dont , some i like the look of thier lines then i dont. they get benched al lthe time the yonex blades are the favourites right now. i hit them so well in oztraylia. the lines on them just suit me perfectly im slowly getting it down to a playable amount of irons , this yrs goal is to just have regular gamers , ill try get it to 5 or 6 ish if thats possible for me.
  19. ah right isee..........., thast the OLD model................., from a week ago,, (thats alrady been run out here) ive just seen the new model , thast not even released yet. it just came out 4 seconds ago tis called Rockballz superlong fastbacktour limited ZR/sv X -1000 proto-nanotech ver. II LTD express. bahhumbug....... chris im NOT hitting this at the show! fahhhgetabarrrtit.....................!
  20. that not a bad looking piece that black driver. if i didnt have 60 billion drivers i would have a peek at that. not bad nudgee-san , not bad at all. pls , some one tell me, who is attas, ? they are popping up here a lot in some off the shelf offerings in BIG names drivers. who makes em ? they come in black and red a LOT. with all sorts of splashes all over them.
  21. ABSOLUTELY....................! i had a BIG bash with my miuraisms shafted with monaccos in stiff yesterday. also had my NS proto 2fi5s( these were paul caseys actual shafts at one stage b4 i got my greeeeeeeedy litle lmits on em..!) ive put these protos in a cpl of yamaha tour irons and they were exceptional ,especially in hawaii in july , these were marvellous. ive since put em in my srixon pro 100 blades and they are now UTTERLY sublime. these are the mack daddy of all shafts ive ever hit. the monnacos were up agaisnt some pretty sturdy competitiion. i game the miuraism in 3-sw. yessterday was farrrrrrrking freeeeeeezing (there was snow on the course still) and it was windy as all bugggggery the monnacos i didnt find flighted 1 iota. i hit a buzzion 2-3-4-5 irons and they went lowish, strong and powerfully. good trajectory and NOT rediculously harsh on yr elbows either , even when it was -1c . so yea they are good! ihit 9-pw a buzzillon times as well and they are a LOT ,lower than the NS protos the check up nad moveability i got with them was far superior to the NS. ill ref the 7 iron and PW on this i was hitting PW check ups to a green into a STRONG left right cross wind 90 yards out and the flight of the PW was magnificent in the monacco (they suit these heads perfectly aswell fyg) got them to sit down well and stick, the NS protos went really high and just plopped on the spot , horses for courses here. the PROTOS were very hard to move about on purpose, much more so than the monnaccos. ilike to hit cut , (sit down u beast)irons shots all the time and i found with the monnaccos this was a snack. MUCH easier to do than the NS. i liked that a lot. i was going to ace the miuraisms this season but after yesterday, i was so moved , i dont think i can. i might just change the grip form the gripmsaster leather to the iomic x-evolutions. i most certianly WONT be reshafting them thast for sure. these took a while to get wired, but now i have im super super impressed with the way they play, they are V good. they are strong shafts. and wil definatly l suit the harder hitter for certian. they DONT really have that "X " factor of the NS proto range. but in all honesty if i had to just play these i wouldnt be yearing for anything else . even in stiff flex, these were perfect for me. (the NS are X fyg) yea chuck em in yr best irons, pretty sure u wont regret it. ohh... and they LOOK mustard as well.
