  1. If u want to try anorher head out of the ryoma and jbeam tour id suggedtto tou tp go the jbeam tour in 10' i think u can generate more head speed with it and itwont turn over can see u likng this more than the ryoma at yr speeds for sure its a more solid head all round plus u can play withe weights to suit desired shot al i know is whar s**ts cone out o. Course and rue 435 is DEF the lowest launch for me the425 is more a normal driver head its awsome shape and at address looks the goods did i say its long. And u can go as hard as u like and it seems to go better
  2. Not a made for the long drivers like the jbeam 435 the ryoma is traditional shape haed with the power tail the 435 lools like it is made to send a salvo of cannon fire at advacing enemies sqaure and boxy yea that tj 46 is almost possible to get launcged the 425 tour is MUCH higher than the 435 no j think the435is lower by a lot
  3. mate... pls let this get to me by thurs so i can take it to longy for the toughest test of drivers.!
  4. D -san.. theres is NOTHING ,, nothing anywhere near the 435 j beam(crazy) if ucan get this off the groiund higher than head high with the TJ 46 then u are so ahead of the curve its reduculous. i have 3 j beams now. 2, 435 with 7.7 and 7.2 im selling the 7.7 bec i want somehting that moves just a smidge, and its too taught for me as is, after hitting the 7.2 ,this brought it back to HUMAN proportions for me, the 435 is a hammer. the 425 tour with the crazy 80 7.7 is my kahoona never changing anything about this, perfect in every way and its long longer for me that the 435 bu i dont have the SS to make the most of this set up, but hit the ball staraight and long with miles of run , its easily the best the Ryoma is the most sensational proper driver, its long straight , smalls workable if u need it ,but yesterday on a cpol of par 5s i juts loaded it nd sent it arrow staright. i think u might want the TJ shaft..... , its totally differnt from the 80s and 50s much lower . much much lower
  5. 65 s is whats written on the driver ones ,i dont know exactly i ddint weigh them when i got them pulled they are made for yamaha i think.they are prob 67 ish stock weight , length what ever that means!
  6. my Pw is 1.5 flat in the miuraisms and i palyed that today as well as i cud. the whole set is 1* flater than usual and i liked it imensly. im going to do a whole set of wedges 1.5* flat and try them out. i found the ball easier to hit nad didnt snap anything all day misses were al right as expected but a good right. think im onto something here.
  7. awsome revieiw. great finds, i think i agree with you totally i palyed today in Chiba at one of the most beautiful courses ive had the pleasure to play on , 7000+ yards drivers were the ryoma 9.5* - cb\\crazy cb80 ls 7.7and jbeam425 tour crazy 80 7.7 10.5 * played 9 holes with both and drove it as good as i can in big wind all day and another fricken monster of a JISHIN. the jbeam i agree totallly is so rediculously low spin. and monsterously long, and l almost non workable , i was slamming the ball to draw and it just turned over the smallest bit even with the weights set to draw bias. i find you can go as hard as u like with better and better results. i love this thing. boaring, piercing long thumps , then i played the back nine, with the ryoma with similar results but a bit more spin nad a lot easier to work. trajectory is higher on average and distance ,, well i dont know there was so little differnce but just the feel is totally differnt and the shape of the shot , my prefernce , depends on the day, both suit so well its weird but i like that white thing as well. if only to be an insureance policy for when the driver looses it lustre one day, but i cant buy one for 400 bucks to see it be resold a month later for 12 as much as its performance is ok, not for me thks., but the jbeam and ryoma most def are.
  8. i have a tendency to pull my wedges a bit i juts had the thought to flatten the lie 1% is this a common thing bec i like to hit slice wedges in anyway to make it sit and spin rathe than run on if i turn the hands then it wil still go staraighter. oh building gurus of clubs.., does this make sense?
  9. oh yea.. oh yes indeed... i used to have this exact club its a cannon with the quadra the quadra has not been tipped its but cut so it feels identical to the driver shaft cant think of anything top play this in at the monet s happy to lt somene else do it. one hting i am thinkog of doing is putting this in a yamaha v 14 head , iknow this si a beauty but ill see if anyonewants it first before i make another monster......!

  11. i have been using differnt eggs in differnt styles for utility purposes ufor the last 6 months ive got 4 nad 5 irons from a set of irons and used different shafts to try and make a ute. ive tried the 22* 9 wood with a ns 950 FW steel shaft ,which is rediculously straight , and it s high launching they all tend to go a little far for what i want basically 200+ yard par 3s . but i finally nailed it with the 5iron (22*) iron and a NS 1050 s 4 iron shaft. this i can now bend round trees, hit low piercing draw "stingers" 220+ or massive high teed up slice cuts 180 that land verticle. its that versatile. the trick was the shaft...., i game this club everytime now and ive made another in the 4 iron thats 21* but so much lower and longer. the egg irons are the most incredible feeling iron ive ever hit. no idea what they are made of but it AINT s20c steel im guessing........... wow i just checked they ARE in fact s20c fored at endo. doh! the mew model looks really playable im not kidding i would seriously look at playing these in 4-5-6 nad my kyoeis in the scoring irons they are that easy to hit so much so, that in considering doing this . the new sole is 1/2 the thickness what the older ones are. they arnt cheap tho. im a hoooooooooooooooooooooooge pr-gr fan and esp of the eggs., for the right course and conditions i love them. that shingo katayama club i picked up a cpl of weeks ago is easily the longest fw ive hit , and by so far its quite alarming. thats going back home to use in oz. if u can find a 5 iron head in the egg id seriosuly recomend playing this as a ute, its terrific. ill post a piccy of mine on the weekend to check out.
  12. especially with many JDM irons sporting very strong lofts. What this does is leave huge gaps when your PW is say 44* which mine is. wow...............................!! that is news to me. wholly schmokes 44* PW.. thats not a pw thats a 8/12 iron! what ,, why,,who,, is doing that so a 5 iro is like 22* or something? i must be living in the dark ages, my PW is 48* or at a huge stretch 47* seriosuly this has prob been touched on a bilin times but i havnt read it. why????????????????? is it to take the 3-4 out of play i guess?
  13. nagano???? goody i can pick them up persoanlly...!!!
  14. this is it.... do u remmebe the specs of hte one i hit at the show, what shaft ? gotta get this it was a joy to hit.
  15. the tj 46 i have is for bombing dead straight. doenst wanna move or get in the air ive found its my wind buster! the 80s are low but nothing like the tj and totally differnt feeling the tj has to be the lowest of all shafts ive treid.
  16. i cant think past the NS super peenings, really. if u like to feel the ball more than just hit at an inanimate projectile like i do , these are so hard to beat. 150m 7 iron is about me as well ,but im 5-11 and like a bit more ease, so id say u could smoke a the NS sp blues.in stiff. or a soft steped x even. dont ask me about DG i hate them. they feel like railway tracks that have been hollowed out .but 90% of the worlds golfers would disagree. most vehemently ...., the "peening "process is where the shafts have been bombardedwith lots of ballbearings to harden up the steel and make it more dense and taught . i was told by the man at NS stand at the tokyo show," hmmmmmmmmm so desu ne ......," i i had to nod in agreement. hence its a bit more solid than the tour versions of the 950 1050 1150 range. Spoon will be able to ad a lot more about the differnces hes hit everything there is and goodsie could chime in here hes the craftsman when it come to makining clubs my recco would be NS sp blue , pm goodsie seriously, he knows way better than i.
  17. the hard stepping idea came of course form the iron shaft master Carlo spoon.
  18. yes exactly....., i have many many sets of irons and ive tried loads of differnt styles. but ive gravitated to the NS sps bec they ae firstly so tight and secondly with feel! i have tendency to try and hit too hard with long irons esp with the harder flexed shafts it was killing my desire to play 3 and 4 irons, and on my course back home i need to be able to play these or my score suffers. so ive been working really hard on 3-4-5 irons at t the range , i always hit a lot of those irons to get them wired, and i found without a doubt that the slightly higher launching shafts suited my consistancy MUCH better than hitting SP blues, not being a automatron ball striker , ill take ALL the hlep i can get.... so i worked out that i hit so much more consistantly with a a tight shaft like the NS 1050 X which is stiff but light. or a higher laucnhing mid kick one in heavier weight. my tempo stays pure if i subconsciously know i dont have to muscle the ball to get it airborne. esp on my home track which is short and many irons are required form tees a lot of the time and esp when it blows like a pornstar. so i said ilove he feeling of the NS 1050 x shafts love them, but, they DO go very high, and they are light. so i thought ilove t he set of yururi flatbacks i have with a set of sst pured NS SP orange and ilove my set of kyoei NS sp blue so i melded the idea to play like i explained above .
  19. 3-4-5-6-7 hard stepped once in orange 8-9-pw in blue hard steppedd in stiff.
  20. Mizzys softer feel then endo in general? idont know the naswer to that ive only hit the mp68s they were very soft yes, but EPON ithink are the softer . the af-tours blades are just crazy easy soft to hit. i dont see anything or i cetianly havnt hit anyting softer and easier in blades, not even close.
  21. exactly............!!!, my lastest discoery is how much the shaft makes a differnce in EVERY way to the heads i used ot just think steel was steel, but no way ! the longer the iron u go dwn the more it makes a differnce in ease to hit and the higher u go up the more precise they go depending on shaft choice. after trying so many i found iliked the feel and ease of the softer NS models but neded the sterness of the x flex in the short irons a DG shaft feels totally differnt than a NS in the same heads trial and error made me find my optimum at the moment ,which is combo of both soft fel for long irons and low hard for the scoring ones. i went NS super peening orange and blue combo to achieve this . it really makes a huge differnce, more so than differnt s head types i beleive. ths shaft IS the engine room. make no msitake..............,
  22. chris.........................................................., feel wise. endo are the softest forgring. miura are either realy soft i nthe uber top end or more solid in thier mid range kyoei solid and dense with great feel. mizzys soft and the most divverse range of options kyoei make tons of open moulds. ive been cosndiering the copper option for a while but keep chickening out.
  23. hahahahahahahaaha all in the eye of the behlolder. they are most definatley the top foundry for soft feel clubs others are good , but it seems endo forged produxcts just come out superb time and again. difficult not to go for an endo forged product really........., but if u like a more solid impact then theres plenty of o thers to consider. ilike both have a lot ofdiffernt forgings endo kinda wins tho.............,
