On golf equipment we are always happy to see exotic clubs. Why then not go the same route with cars. No Mercedes, Ferrari, Astom Martin or similar "ordinary" cars. Some are longer than others :p We get that. But the man was trying to get some advise. So help him out. I still carry the original egg spoon. I think it's a great distance tool. I don't think it was a fake. I had a white hot xg myself for about a week before I returned it to the shop because the isert was so soft. Mushy so to speek. When I tested it in the shop it was great because you could only hit short puts. But on the course it was terrible for longer putts. No distance control at all. The insert was just too soft.
