Looking for affordable japan Irons
i have a set of all original graphite shafted tourstage V7000 irons(4-P,P/S) which i got from ebay in almost mint condition about 2 years ago for about $250 and it is one of the best feeling irons i have owned... i found another set available locally in poor condition and it was selling for more than $500...

Softest Jspec Iron ever
soft feeling is soooooo... subjective.. even hard cast irons can feel soft with low compression balls.... i use the bridgestone B330RX ball exclusively and although i haven't tried the epons my old tourstageTZ101s and V7000s really felt soft when hit properly... i now use the adams V3 forged and they are also soft---but then they have all of those high tech vibration dampening stuff!!

GIGA XF07 10* titanium driver
i recently acquired a giga xf07 titanium driver in 10* loft with mamiya OP hex axle high modulus graphite S shafts in brand new condition in a close-out sale from a local distributor at a bargain price.. total mass weight is 286 grams.. i realize this is a 2007 model club but since i was looking for ultralite sub-300 gram drivers it fit the bill.. i have yet to take it to the course--will do that this sunday--but was hitting range balls pretty well.. i would appreciate any reviews from those who have tried it.. thank you for any replies..

Reverse off set iron sets
my tourstage V7000s also have a reverse offset which i found a bit disconcerting...in the beginning.. i hit them so well now that they are my main gamers....i guess i just get used to it after a while..

tourstage v7000s and bridgestone ray floyd wedges...
i am currently using the above forged irons for my social/casual rounds but am liking them so much i intend to use them for more serious amateur tournaments.. i plan to join more local and national senior amateur events(am 65) which are always run using USGA/R & A rules and are also used as the basis for selecting our senior teams representing our country in international events.. although they are close to 10-year old models i have not found any of the newer models which can out perform them--for me.. i got them in mint condition last year and the V7000s are 4-P,P/S with stock 64 gm graphite R shafts and the 53*/58* wedges have precision 5.5 steel shafts.. all the clubs have "bridgestone" identically stamped in the hosels and i presume they are manufactured and forged in japan.. will they be legal for the events i plan to join?.....thanks for any replies..

2006 tourstage x-blade cb
thanks for the reply but i don't really want to inconvenience the seller... i would consider the current pings and callaways mid-sized.....am looking for heads slightly longer than my previous bridgestone J36... i also have the older tourstage V7000s which i would consider mid-sized...
-
2006 tourstage x-blade cb
there is a set for sale here and am wondering if they are mid-sized or standard...for reference i would consider the bridgestone J36 as standard and the J38 as mid-sized.. am really looking for some mid-sized ones... thanks for any replies..

looking for graphite iron shafts for a back-up set....
......my current gamers are a set of tourstage V7000 irons #4-P,P/S which i got in really mint condition earlier this year...they have graphite shafts with the following markings: ...TDI-60H...tour design...wt 64...tq 3.6..KpHK...flex R.... ......although i realize that this is about a 10-year old model,i am hitting these clubs better than any of the iron sets i have had in the past and am now looking at assembling a back-up or combo set with a set of tourstage Z101 heads which i recently procured using shafts with similar playing characteristics as on my V7000s...... ....i would appreciate any assistance/suggestions from those with experience on currently available shafts with similar playing characteristics as to what i have on the V7000s.... i guess i can always look for another set of tourstage irons with the same shafts and pull out the shafts but am not really inclined to go that route as i would prefer more modern shafts....... i also have a set of bridgestone J36 pocket cavities with nspro 850 R shafts which was my previous back-up set but now find this a bit heavy and am now convinced to go for graphite in my irons....as long as the specs are what's right-----for me.. many thanks for any replies....

tourstage viq mx driver and viq 4 wood...
oops!!...my bad---i inadvertently added 1 more zero.....he he he!! thanks for pointing it out....
-
tourstage viq mx driver and viq 4 wood...
the clubs were in mint almost brand new condition with original headcovers when i got them and the sticker indicated a price of 750000 yen for the driver and 350000 for the 4 wood.. ...did they really cost that much when they first came out?

tourstage viq mx driver and viq 4 wood...
i just got a tourstage viq mx 10.5* driver with a tv-50a 48 gm R shaft and a viq 17* 4 wood with a vd-50 SR shaft in a trade and would like to know what year model these are and where they were made... the driver weighs in at 290 gms and the 4 wood at 305 gms... i have used them for 2 rounds now and am hitting my drives at least 15 yds longer(about 240+ yd carry now) than my previous J33r 460 driver with vs proto 65 R shaft(325 gm mass weight) and the 4 wood is also longer than my FT 17* 4 wood with fuji e160 R shaft.. needless to say i am quite happy with my trade(i traded them with my mint--hit less than 10x--2010 callaway diablo edge tour driver) and am now convinced that the lighter shafts and over-all weight are the way to go...for me.. i am 65 years young and my ss is in the high 90's....i have been playing the game for 52 years now and got as low as a 3 but am now an 9 hdcp on my 6500 yd home course... i am now looking for a similar driver as a back-up as my other drivers are all in the 320-325 gm range.. thanks for any replies...

where was this made?
...many thanks for your reply gocchin!!

where was this made?
after having been a 100% callaway user for the past 20+ years i have recently converted to japanese brands--specifically bridgestone/tourstage--as i now feel they they are more suited to the asian market and also believe the japanese quality is second to none.. i currently have 2 sets of almost all bridgestone/tourstage clubs (see my signature) and was just wondering whether my current stuff was made in japan or china... i would appreciate any comments from those who may know....thank you for any replies..

tourstage v7000 irons??
i just played these on the course for the first time yesterday and am very happy with them...my best shot was a 6-iron 10 feet past the pin on a 175 yard par-3 with an island green... ....also hit a P/S( 51 degree gap wedge) from 115 yards with a slightly helping wind to an elevated green 8 ft from the hole----and missed the birdie putt!! if 10 year old tourstage irons are these good i can't imagine how much better the newer models are...
