  1. Nice T. If I'm a racecar driver & I find out there is a new & what possibly is currently the best gearbox, I'd be silly not to test it :). It should be just a matter of time that's unless the top pros are really using higher carbon grading versions lol
  2. I would have thought there will be some in the Japan Tour. There is a eBay seller of crazy tour issue shafts/JDM head in the US claiming he gets stuff from a tour player sponsored by Crazy. Which tour I don remember.
  3. I've been wondering too. Not sure that shaft co sponsors players in the USA so no1 will be stopped to switch.
  4. It does have a slight onset.. Antileft? Very pure, simple design. It's beautiful.

I agree. I ordered my mp68 2.5* flat from their standard. Played it for 4 months & doubted the lie angle. Had it checked & it was all over the joint. Had myself dynamically tested & it did come up that I needed 2.5 across but went an extra .5 with wedges. I guess if ur meticulous with ur gear then you will always have some sort of doubt until you get it rechecked with ur club builder.

I didn't know & that is very surprising. I also thought JDM is all about custom fit clubs.

I'm the same. I play 2.5 flatter than standard instead if 2 & 3 on wedges.
  9. Nice Stew. I'm getting more inclined to the ryoma
  10. I have experienced the beauty of the JDM shaft, the acquired taste (sound wise) of the prgr egg px-o3 but great flight & performance. Next will be a JDM head and the Ryoma vspec/bangvoo has my attention.
  11. Just wondering how the snowman would perform if Also shafted with quadra proto or crazy. It's just seem weird how there's a lot of NON TM staffers using this head. Luke Donald is one who is a Mizuno boy.

We do all sorts of shots with our wedges that's why i said if it is 'consistently' going left then you need flatter.
  13. Hi Bill.. Awesome stuff. Just curious as to what you mean by snowman, as in white head? Also was the kaili a TM upgrade or done by your mate? I think Stew also had a similar finding in terms of how easy and straight it was but not the length you were getting, i think he said it had a stock shaft. Cheers E

Stew, you'll find arguments on both side but your results speaks for itself. as long as it consistently finds the left side then u need to go flatter. With your hcp especially, no point discussing swing :)

Did you use the 106cm as FW? And you say untipped? (i had the ilima tipped a full inch to work as egg has a very shallow bore/high bbgm) whats best price you can do if you bring to sydney?

hey Stew, will the quadra 75xs be good to use on 3wood egg? i got it working well with the ilima at the moment.
  17. Hi Chris, - Ryoma V-Spec 9.5 w/ Muziik BangVoo Premium Stiff are you bagging this right now or still with the Crazy CRZ-460? Any comparison between those 2? I'm salivating over the ryoma bangvoo combo.

Yea.. from 279 3w. If my egg head weight was standard it would be close to this.
  22. yea.. looks like it but different flex. Wow Oz seller but coming from Japan.. must be selling it for Stew :)
  23. The way you're describing how the shaft is performing seem to indicate good things. Your initial disappoint may turn into delight by tomorrow! We all know the anguish of having to wait. Got my club shafted with quadra yesterday, dried today but couldn't squeeze range time & straight to a round tomorrow... Just like waiting for eternity.

Nice one Stew. Amazing how the extra weight made so much diff. The beast shaft is ready for oatlands tomorrow. No range sessions. Dibs on the Ryoma :p
