  1. The fairwaywood looks good. Not sure about the driver but i want to see it from different angles.
  2. Would they release it as it is? I hope so. I like the clean classic style but i have a feeling this is only for the prototypes..
  3. I heard of these but didn't know they look this good. when will there be review?
  4. wow that's too bad. Isn't this the hottest model of line. Poor decision by the distributor...
  5. My clubmaker said they fit .355 tip. What shaft are you installing into them?
  6. I would assume they are .355. I've had these reshafted, and will ask what tip size was used.
  7. So what i'm understanding is that the Fourteeen is more forgiving. Does anyone know the loft of the Fourteen? And the Yonex?
  8. Yes i agree. Matrix needs to rethink the white on the shafts. too much glare it is distracting. Im hitting the longest yard shaft and liking it very much.
  9. the new 2011 x-drive and x-ut look sweet! I know you have the utility review coming up... should i be expecting this driver review soon too?
  10. My eye hand coordination is quite spot on so I've had no problems with the longer shafts in the driver. There is a slight increase in distance that i like...any extra yard helps for my approach shot.
  11. I've been waiting for some feedback on the Matrix iron shafts. Did you use steel or graphite shafts in your irons before and which ones? Also, how do you compare it and what is it about these graphite shafts that you like so much? Thanks for your post!
  12. Yes, I've read in this forum that the head shape, grind, and bounce has the most significant affect on feel. Although, it being forged does have a big difference in the softness at impact.
  13. I see the difference when using non-conforming. There is a significant bounce off the face for non-conforming like the ball is shooting off the face faster than normal. But, I honestly think that having a good shaft will make more of a difference. So, having a non-conforming head will increase somewhat, but first things first make sure you have the correct shaft.
  14. I wish Epon was more readily available. It makes it hard for us customers to get our hands on especially since it is custom specs.
  15. Did you send it to Sasaya yet? I'm sure some of us would like to get our hands on this. I thought it was sold out a while ago....man these are hot!
  16. I agree with Sean. The WV is a good middle ground between the NSPRO and S200. Good feedback yet it has more control as the S200. Im currently using them now and liking it.
  17. I usually use the nowon grips, but what i read on the GTI blog got me interested in the Tour Gs.
  18. all the model names mean Black. That's cool. My best guess would be that Nero is a longest yard model, Noir is the new 50 serires, and Black is the new 80 series. Sorry if i'm just stating the obvious.
  19. I've hit my buddy's clubs both with the S200 and now with the Prgram95s. Only got to test it once at the range, but i did notice a bit more control and some distance. it also felt easier on my shoulder.
  20. Man that shaft is broken in 4 places!! Are you sure he didn't run it over with the car? Maybe you were winning too many bets and he had to destroy your secret weapon!! haha
  21. I just read your post about the custom Pings. And the Epon's too!??! You got yourself one sweet fully customized set. Anything else on the way? Yup, the Epon's are nice and soft. easy to work the ball for me. I have a feeling lots of people will be staring at your bag :)
  22. Great feedback! I had the same experience the first time I purchased Japan market clubs after playing with my old McGregors for many many many years. The first day, i wanted to cry because i couldn't hit them after spending so much. Then went to the range got my swing in check and was hitting the balls like I've never did. I agree, the feedback from the high quality clubs are significant. When you hit it on the sweet spot you really feel the a smooth ease and softness to the irons. It's great that they work for you and are fitted properly by club fitter. Keep us updated with how you're playing with the Pings.
  23. Yeah, i think these might be sold out because they were limited and released last year. But it wouldn't hurt asking. Try the "contact us" button on the header.
  24. on the blog tario said he'd be getting the GR Forged this week. We'll probably see some pics after he hits the course this week! What a lucky guy!
  25. I find it very interesting that "Made in China" is in a very inconspicuous location. Shouldn't it be in plain view for exporting reasons?
