  1. I think most brands wanna have different models for different player profile. Not seen any brand just focusing on blades.... There will always be golfers (like me) that cannot hit a GI somehow....maybe it's the large offset or the thick chunky topline, but that's me and I'm sure there are plenty of golfers like me out there.......

+1 on this post...couldn't have agree more and very well written (with a clam head too) !! One thing I love about this community is how we wanna share our experiences of JDM equipments and in BST we can see a lot of clubs gets move around from members to members. That's what it's all about IMHO and not about making some quick buck as we're not selling equipments as our business (or at least most of us aren't) Cheers, again to a great post.........
  3. Nice collection of JMD there....can't imagine it getting any better than that !!
  4. If you planning on selling your drivers Mark, please PM me as i might be interested...
  5. Yeah forgot to mention, those Yururi in raw finish are ball eaters.... !!
  6. For me the best feeling irons are Yururi flatback raw. The raw finish just seem to let the ball stick onto the face a little longer and the feel is not buttery soft, like Epon 502. Only thing I don't like about them is the leading edge is too sharp and tends to dig on wet fairway. My current gamer is Miura baby blades and their sole grind are more flexible to play in any condition and Miuramaniac explain it perfectly with the amount of meat behind the ball gives it a very good firm feel..... I've play On/Off forged in the past and they're very good but I remember them more firm and clickly. Maybe the model I played was the older model (2 yeas back) and design have since change then.... My vote if you like solid feeling irons - Miura baby blades. and if a softer and yet solid feeling irons - Yururi Flatback in raw finish.
  7. Pictures speak a thousand words... so might wanna post some...
  8. Another alternative is Winn. I know they have some larger size putter grips but I prefer Super stroke as its much lighter and don't throw off my putter head weight too much. I don't find Super stroke sticky...in fact it feels very light sponge and helps to keep your fingers relax...
  9. If you don't like any of the driver head, PM me Mark :-)
  10. 55 stiff... going light. However T just inform me that there is a back order for Quadra so most likely will only shipped out this Thu/Fri. Hope to get em shaft up before our game
  11. Buy from trusted source - that's what I do. I work in China and have seen tons of fake 'painted over' shafts. One way to look at a shaft quality is the butt and tips area and see how it looks versus the original. Also the sound (if you knock it on hard ground is different sounding)
  12. Here's the link... Darn... for a minute there, I thought I could 'dream' what future irons look like lol
  13. Here are some links - Happy Reading N.S Pro Regio Formula shaft...80T? Any good? High Launching Shaft recommendation? In general, seem like a pretty good high launching shaft. I order one last week together with Quadra FE 55 so will do a comparison once it arrived
  14. Thought I saw this about Homma post a few months back?? Indeed their new line-up is a lot more attractive and less blink in design.

  17. If it was a player series, I would have grab it off your hands...
  18. That's a fast sell.... Maybe I should also out mine in BST as I'm hardly using it

How odd.... I was thinking of their bespoken model too last year but never pull the trigger (after getting the quote from James lol) looks really good but not sure if I can justified paying so much for a putter. The latest I hear is James is also working with Scratch to make putters for them.

  25. You mean this 388 cc head is kicking your Hi Cor Ryoma - king of distance out of the bag?? (my heart just skip a beat, I think) Hmmm...... seem I need to keep my eye peel on BST these few days :) When you compare the carry, are you comparing to D1 carry or the D1 Permia or Hi Cor??
