Aerotech steelfiber shafts- How do you choose which one?
Steelfiber Player Specs are their newer model iron shaft with a increase of 2g up each iron shaft. Taken from their website: Players Spec Ami99: "With its SteelFiber construction and ascending mass weight progression the Players Spec Ami99 is the most technically advanced iron shaft Aerotech produces. Shaft weights ascend from 95 grams in the 3 iron to 110 grams in the pitching wedge. A player that’s looking for long irons that are as easy to hit as the SteelFiber i95 and short irons with the control of the SteelFiber i110, this is the shaft choice for you. The Players Spec iron shaft is more expensive to produce and therefore this technology comes at a higher price, but for a player looking for the highest performance in this weight range you can’t beat the Players Spec."

Aerotech steelfiber shafts- How do you choose which one?
I've played Modus 3 prior to moving into Aerotechs and have no problem with the transition to a lighted weight. In terms of stiffness, I think they play half flex stiffer to Modus (or to me anyway as Modus3 stiff seems slightly softer in flex in stiff for me) I've tried a full i95 (#3-P) / mix set of i110 in longer irons (#3-5) & i95 for shorter irons (#6-P) and also the Player Series and the one I love best is the mix set and Player series. Full i95 seem to screw up my tempo a little on the shorter irons. How do you feel he Modus in stiff now? If you feel it's just right, you might wanna go Regular flex in the Aerotechs but if you feel it's a little softer to flex, then go Stiff in Aerotech. Weight wise, I prefer either a mix combo or Player series Cheers, Ed

Aerotech vs NSPro
Possible.... Also tried KBS Tour and also too high a launch for me and only C Taper I felt was more penetrating. In NS Pro series, I've tried the one that suit me is 1050, 1150 and and of course Modus 3.

Played mine in a Mizuno MP68

Aerotech vs NSPro
I've hit both and apart from weight the shaft characteristic is very different. The NSPro70 ball flight is ballooning high where Aerotech ball flight is more perching into the wind. Not sure if I'm making sense here. Also the feel is a lot better without the vibration you get from NSPro 70. In summary the Aerotech is more predictable and easier to play for the joints My 2cents

+1 on the Ryoma F3. I also played both the 2gen Egg and Ryoma F3 and in terms of distance and forgiveness goes to Ryoma. Also easy to hit off the deck as mini driver. However the only thing is I find if I'm not on perfect fairway lie, then putting this F3 into play becomes a challenge but off the deck it's a winner !! I cannot hit my Egg off the deck somehow...

NS SP Blue, Aerotech 125i and, Diamana Thump
Actually the Aerotech regular flexs i95 and i110 most builders advice against hard stepping em but for stiff flex it's fine.

If you got shaft for wedges, PM me Stew...

NS SP Blue, Aerotech 125i and, Diamana Thump
I've not tried the Aerotechs in 125i yet but between i110 and i95 the flight of i110 is already slightly lower launching so would presume the 125 will bring the flight down further and more penetrating. Would be interesting to see the comparison from Stew after his range time tonight....

Diamana X or Stinger
Yup... JDM driverless now (unless you put Vega into JDM) I was supposed to have a Epon EMS head arrive to me sometime mid Oct but got lost in the mail and the seller now is trying to claim insurance and just this morning he suddenly e-mail me that the head has arrived back to him in the US !! Now he is going to try to resend again.... piss me a little obviously. Looking to try a Ryoma Premia one of these days (if i can find a used one in 10.5) If you stop hoarding them and decided to sell me one would be greatly appreciated. My KL trip was OK but darn hot to be playing 5 days of golf straight. Ended up getting a head stroke after that and down with heavy fever for a couple of days..... obviously gaming R11 was no fun at all but it gets the job done temporary...
