  1. I'd like to see a conforming head looking like this, with some decent headweight, a "HD" version
  2. Nice crush on that ball..The 103 and 105 were the same loft and shaft combo when you tried them out?
  3. I've been eyeing the 103 and 105 and also the Kai for a while as an upgrade to my Zero. The 103 can be had for not that much dough but the talk of distance-loss has been bugging me a bit..Don't see many reviews on the Kai either. I agree that the 103 really LOOKS almost perfect. Haven't seen the 105 in person yet.
  4. I'll take the Endo LFD. PM sent
  5. For the classy, stealthy look? I have it done on my 302s too, look way classier than the original bright red/black paintfill, that almost look a bit cheesy I think
  6. This is almost embarassing to mention, but I game the Cleveland TFi 8.0 putter..The oversized Anser style with the copper face that is slightly longer than standard and counterbalanced. I tried it for laughs and it practically puts itself. It's the most forgiving soft feeling putter I have ever tried, and yes I have tried plenty of putters. It's also cheap as chips so I bought it just to see if it would work on real greens. And it does. I love the fact it's so uber forgiving but at the same time doesn't look like some space ship. EVERYBODY I know that tries it get a humbled absent look int heir eyes, glancing over at their Camerons or whatever expensive putter they have in theor bag. Other putters I have, Bettinardi, Cameron, Maruman, Rife are all collecting dust. For forgiveness and ultra-stability in a not-weird looking package this is close to unbeatable. It now sits in the bag next to 302s or 551s, PRGR, Epon, S-Yard, Kasco etc like some ugly duckling.
  7. Those shafts went quick! Too bad, the Crazy Black 50 combo sounded really interesting
  8. I've been a 52/58 guy for several years now. I feel it covers all bases. Probably won't touch that, I might add a high bounce 62 though down the road
  9. I play SPBs that are a bit over-length in X and they suit me really well. From what I understand the 125s are almost identical to the SPBs in every way except that the 125s are a few grams lighter. I've been thinking about going with X in the 125s too..Should I consider softstepping?
  10. Keep in mind that standard Titleist lie angle means 1.5-2.5 degrees up from most JDM clubs. So you might not need to bend them that much.

What's the 5-iron length on the Marumans?
  12. I've seen these in person, they really do look great. Sorta look like the ultimate mix of looks and forgiveness
  13. Well, Yokohama is (more or less) Tokyo, there should be numerous trains going into to central Tokyo from either Shin-Yokohama station or Yokohama station. Should be a breeze getting to Shimbashi station where there are plenty of used and new golf shops.
  14. Looks like 3 Golds wedges, but only the 52 in the ad?
  15. This Honma stuff looks amazing
  16. Terrific looking stuff, usually I'm not a fan of combo sets but these do look like they flow beautifully. Intrigued about the 6# DI, wonder how that would be to look down at..Pretty good is my guess because of the shorter length heel to toe
  17. Might be wrong, but I think it's great for softer conditions and for steep swingers/diggers.
  18. I'd be hesitant to hit such a beautiful club
  19. I guess I want to know wether this particular non-conforming Kamui driver is not as brittle-faced as the usual Non-conforming heads, since what makes it non-conforming is the spring behind the face and not a ultra thin shaved face. making it a choice for high SS players. Or does it also feature a super thin shaved sensitive/crack-prone face?
  20. So this would be non-conforming but not brittle for us higher swing speed players?
  21. To me, a closed head usually looks straight. And a straight face looks closed.
  22. Kinda depends what they did with it though? The base material itself I wouldn't call old-tech. That would make every graphite shaft in the world low-tech right? ☺
