Help! Shaft Tip Diameter for Tourstage X-Drive 705 455 Type
.335 for sure. I had one previously and had replaced shafts on it. 705 was the last series of better feeling x drive drivers to date in my opinion. afterall, they were Endo forged heads. was not a big fan of the later verions .. (707 and 709) hope this helps.

New Mizuno MP Fairway Wood
Found this on their website. 13.5 (3S) , 15 (3), 17 deg (5S) Ti face fairways! Priced steeply at approx. 50,000 yen. ( YIKES!! ) Looks really nice though! They mention this club as being "Buttobi" essentially meaning "Super Long!" which I think might be the first time I have seen Mizuno use it on any their MP line of clubs.

Help me pick a 80x shaft for my 3/4w
Don't know how the Zcom Pro95 X flex plays, but I have had the S flex firmly in my titleist 910 4 wood for the last 3 seasons. I love this shaft. Rory used to use the Zcom Pro95 and the Rombax P95 in his 3 and 5 woods during his Titleist years. He should have never switched!! But good to hear he's going back to it. I agree this is as stable a shaft you can find but obviously you need to be comfortable with the weight. Definitely not a distance shaft. but i'd rather have control and accuracy in my fw. Pro95 are fairly easy to find as it was once a very popular driver shaft among all hard hitters, 85s are becoming very hard to find outside of Japan. For what its worth, I am also a big fan of the Rombax Prototype 80B. A bit more taming required but one of the best feeling tip stiff shafts in my opinion. Phil Mickelson used this shaft for a long time in his Big Bertha fw. I believe he still plays it from time to time. Good luck and have fun with your search!!

Epon AF-302 v. YoRo MP-64s
I have played the AF301s for a season before I switched to MP64s. Perhaps not the exact comparo but I imagine would be pretty close. I felt that the sole design on the 301's were sharper which made it a bit more demanding and required more precise impact. The round sole on the MP64's on the other hand glide thru any type of turf with ease. Feel at impact again goes to MP64's for me. Mizuno did a great job in putting a lot of mass behind the impact area which probably is contributing to the denser feel against 301s. I feel that size of sweetspot are very similar but overall forgiveness for me goes to MP64's mostly due to ease of turf interaction. This coming season, I am going to try the new MP4 musclebacks mainly for practice and to treat myself with the best feeling impact any Mizuno iron has to offer, with tiny hopes that one day I'd actually become a good enough striker to game them! :-) My main set will still be the 64s.
