  1. yes indeed, BEST is very subjective in golf equipment. I will have to try out a few options myself and make a call then. I've got a nice shortlist anyway from reading this thread and others in the club-fitting section.
  2. Yes I actually prefer the graphite over steel. So any tips on the better graphite options out there ? Price is no object - just want the best.
  3. Interested to know some suggestions as to the best shafts to put in your irons if you're looking for two key factors....control and softness. In terms of softness I'm thinking more of vibration dampening - a shaft that can play its part in helping the shots to feel as soft (and solid) as possible and keep any nasty jars well away from my 50-year-old arthritic joints. I'm finding the Japanese clubs with a S/R flex suit my clubhead speed. Now I'm getting my hands on the recently re-released and updated gunmetal Cleveland TA7 irons and want to put a great shaft in them - the factory product only has a limited, and no custom, shaft option.
  4. New from Miyazaki Miyazaki has a new introduction to make in January at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, FL. The new product is called Dromos and it is their 3rd version of the Miyazaki golf shaft line. The Dromos features incredible artwork that has some amazing features. For example, the artwork can actually tell you if the driver head is setup to open or closed.
  5. FYI.... Bushnell Outdoor Products, makers of the #1 laser rangefinder on the PGA Tour, today introduced the most ground-breaking golf rangefinder in company history. Already the makers of the mostly widely played laser rangefinder and technologically advanced GPS rangefinders, Bushnell has created the ultimate distance measuring device with the Bushnell Hybrid – a combination laser rangefinder with GPS. Available in February, at a retail price of $499, the Hybrid is the first of its kind in the market. The Bushnell Hybrid is a revolutionary combination laser and GPS product. The laser rangefinding technology engineered into the Hybrid provides golfers with precise distances within one yard to virtually any point on any course in the world. Over 90% of PGA Tour pros and top amateurs trust Bushnell laser rangefinders to provide them the most accurate distances available in golf today.
  6. The CALLAWAY JAPAN website mentions a new LEGACY APEX Driver coming out in the next few weeks as well as some Razr Hawk drivers and irons in March. Can we get some further info on here ???
  7. How about getting fitted for equipment in Tokyo ? Any suggestions ? A place where you can hit clubs and get computer feedback as to which best suits ?
