just a thought, but at this price you could possibly go into your local retailer and pick up a club with store credit! 335 is crazy for a Tour E, think that low loft is hurting you.#

that powder finish - great looking finish but I have heard it looks great and holds up on a driver (less contact with ground) but on an iron not so much.
  4. same shafts different graphics!

MR-23 wouldnt do it for him coz of its low offset & being relatively hard to hit. i like chris' idea of the TM driving iron :spit:

Correct to all who said RAC MB Onset model, they were on ebay, think they are finished now. Unreal looking irons - waaay better than those box toes, or 2MM irons. :money:

ah come on people! 2MM offset?! does that look like any offset to you!? its a current model, not old TM300s! keep looking to the future people. :-)

One of the few Company X irons I have actually liked. Satin Finish, rare & tour only:
  11. nice review - I like the sound of this head, but am actually more interested in the shaft. I think its a good fit for me, kind of a mix of a 660TR and 757. Would love to see pics if you get the chance

The finish on the Satin Mizunos are above and beyond anything I have ever seen, the shape does nothing for me.

I am very particular with my clubs & only a select few past my tests! But there are 4 that stand out for me, 2 of which I have had. Numbero Uno - Scratch Satins 2 - Vokey TC Satins 60-M 3 - Tourstage X Wedge: 4 - FAQ's Fourteen wedges
  14. I know its simplistic, I understand it may seem "babyish" and does not compete with some gimmicks but I firmly believe good tempo is the key to good, consistent golf.

Well I think it is now fair to say that Kheed is an a$$hole. It makes me regret being a teenager, because at the end of the day all we have is our reputations on here. Just recently I sold a pair of British Open tickets to Neil in the UK. I didnt know him, he didnt know me, but the deal went off without a hitch. Why? I have a good rep on here, and Neil had dealt with a friend on mine before.
  16. great that you like Gauge putters - I would love to see pics.
  17. read the post: 5.5 - 5.6
  18. I actually quite liked the Nike ONE when I played it. Havnt found too many of them over so I will have to see. Might wait for the release of the One Black.
  19. well the old favorites: 970 Silver BBD Type H Tourstage MR-23 ** Tourstage FST TM V-Steel / 200 Tour
  20. If you hit the PT high then the SS-03 is the club for you. Piercing bullets, amazing feel, great looks and length.
  21. yeah even though its a TM I can see myself playing it. Its the nicest looking utility I have seen - nicer than the Fourteen, Rescue Mid, et al

Driver shafts - to be honest I am yet to find one that really shines for me. My favorite driver so far has been the 983E with a 661 Speeder. Also have had a GBII with a 757 which I liked, but didnt love. The driver Ari has now is my old one - MARU with 652. But I have a 983E with T-Speeder on the way currently. To be honest, I now have had 4 high end Fujis: 661, 652, 757 and 869 and only the 869 stood out for me. There are a lot of really quality shafts out there now, and you do nothave to go Fuji to find one that fits you. Chris likes the Graphite Design shafts and from all reports I have read, they are a cut above the rest. On a semi-related note - on the European tour the Prolite is one of the most played shafts. There are very few really high end shafts, indeed some set ups wuold be looked down upon on TSG. And it is not because we cannot get high end gear - Justin Rose has a set of RAC protos and before Darren Clarke signed with TM he had totally custom MP-33s from Japan. Different toe grind, topline and head weights.

Well I have the 869 in a 3 wood and I dont think it would work well in a driver. First off, its a little heavy, then there is the relatively soft tip (excess spin) and I find it gives quite a kick through impact... maybe leading to inconsistency with a driver? I hear what you are saying about liking heavier SW and static weights. What you coud do (and what I have done) is add lead tape or **get someone to weight it for you. I have a friend of a friend that does this & used to work on the Sonartec Tour Van. As for the forums itself, my take is that we have all pretty much discussed the "interesting" topics with golf. We are a little too educated really - there is nothing that "wows" us anymore. Also on other forums they do break up every section, but how many sub-sets are absolutely empty?
  25. She is scary fine. And she can actually play tennis too - beating Davenport was quality tennis. But who cares if she can play  What is a little off putting *for you old guys* is that she 17 :surprize:
