Not sure abt the vizard as i bot my 3i stock. I hv it on a kbs c taper lite just so its seemless with my irons. Thinking now to try it with a crazy ute OR fujikura mci to blend it with my other iron set
  2. Kuro is black ? So if i put rory's kuro kage into these kuros, i get double blacks ? Love the 2013s. I think i dont have the right shaft on it yet as the fujikura MCIs dont seem to match them quite as well.
  3. Cant decide which one to sell. Both plays similar, with yammy a bit clickier, epon softer. Need to raise some cash to fund a new stick. Help !

I can only carry 14 clubs, unlike you :-). Its the 3 for me, took out my 4i from the bag. Grip down on my 3 honma, it becomes 4i with steriods. Now deciding if i should ditch my RBZ 18 deg for a Honma 2i.

Not these heads. Like supo67 mentioned, these seem to float, not balloon. Easy to launch, it feels like a 6i trajectory. I hv tried the 712u, no comparison. I would think the epon plays similar to 712u.
  6. How does an 80T feel ? More stiff, boardy, heavy perhaps ? Am using usual crazy 46 / ly01/ diamana x 60s. Thinking of tightening up my dispersion & going heavier. Thks

Bot my 3i with the stock steel shaft. Never played with the stock as i wanted the feel to be similar to my yammy set. Just itching to try it on my crazy shaft. Might get the 2i & fit into crazy. Take the rbz tour 18 deg out of the bag completely

Do you think the head will fit crazy ute shaft ?

bought the 3i few mths ago & changed the shaft to kbs, similar to my irons. Best investment for me this yr. Had problems with long par 3s / 180-90m, getting this changed my game. Great off the tee & off fairway. I have very tight par4s & using this off tee then 2nd - easy. Thinking of getting the 2i now. Miles easier than the titliest or epons
  10. Saw a jbeam 435-IIr ( white head ) in a crazy TJ80 for sale. USD 800 for the combo. Just doing some research on the head when i came across this thread, the shafts i am ver familiar with. These head + combo is couple of yrs old, just wondering how it compares to current set ups. I am currently gaming a maxima / diamana X - forgiving but not the longest. Thks

hi - has anyone tried the new ust mamiya attas 6 rock star driver shaft ? Seems to be limited to japan only. Thks
  13. bought the 3i in the famous thaniya plaza in Bkk, fitted it with ctaper lite. had 3 rounds with it, amazing. Just as easy off the deck as tee. Great club for the longer par 3s & 2nd shot par 5s. Was worried as it looked a bit skinny on the eye, but easy to launch & very forgiving. Ball flight flight more like an iron profile, starts off low penetrating and climbs higher for a nice fade. never had a driving iron before, glad i bought this one
  14. thanks. Looks like its the TW-U then. Prob plug it into my crazy ute shaft.
  15. again, i dont hv much exp in DI, how would this compare vs RC, 903 chris ? Thanks
  16. i have a set of 2013s in MCI shaft which i alternate vs AF302s ( pxi ) & Yammy 2012 v tours ( ctapers ). how does the cb358 play vs the 2013 model ? From what i gather, smaller head, same grooves, less offset ? thanks

Got it guys - thks. Its seen its time i guess. The tipping point could have been the krank head.

this was my first crazy. Bought it new > 4/5 years ago. Cant even recall where I bought it, though most likely TSG. Its the first generation LY TJ46 been more than a dozen pulls on that shaft. i play 200+ rounds a year, + range time. Its one of my fav, so its been through lots of abuse. thanks attached a pic to the topic - strange it didnt show up

a bit of education help here for me guys. was on the range driving hard when my crazy longest yard TJ46 snapped at that point, just abv the hosel. It was on a krank head. never happened to me before, so wondering if anyone has experience & shed some light. thanks.
  20. never tried the golds, but have couple of gaming circle Ts. They are not your msinstream SCs. The steel the used, GSS & SSS models are as soft & responsive as they come. imho, putters doesnt have to be technical as other clubs, the most you can customise are the length. I use an SSS during summers, when greens are slower & switch to a softer oil can head during winter. the overpriced circle Ts are those with personalised stampings, which have collectors premiums. A gaming circle T would be ard 2-3k
  21. Good question. I would like to know too ,!
  22. i believe titleist is coming out with a cold forged wedge. Will post a pic when i get back. Dont know much about the process but its possible as JayDM mentioned. http://www.chikuma-s.co.jp/english/cold-forging/
  23. anyone come across these ? are these forged in JP ?

the mci 80s is on my onoff 2013, higher ball flight i noticed, but ball dead stops on the green. Did not see any distance gain compared to my ctper, but definitely easier to swing
  25. Paired my new MCIs 80gm with onoff forged 2013. A thing of beauty. Launches higher than i want but seems to stop on a dime on the green. Leaking to the right a bit last few rounds but it just the swing i think.
