I think the Distance would be down to the Strong loft and slightly longer club length.... Anyway best of luck in your Quest!!

You'll have to check the Flex!! Me I go as for North as Northallerton! I have a swing speed of 83mph with a 6iron, distance was mid/high 170's yards!!

They don't do a Reg flex in Modus3, only Stiff, but it's slightly, and I mean slightly softer... It still holds its shape like a Stiff, I think personally the shaft plays more or less true to flex BUT because of the fantastic feeling/ feed back it can give a sorter flex feeling!! I had S flex soft stepped once and for me there bag on!... If I put my sensible swing on it, wow!!! Even if I have a rush of blood and try and Kill the ball the shaft does hold up, all be it with a lesser feeling!! Note to myself** don't try to knock the ball out of sight!!** Shame your not closer to me as you'd be more than welcome to come try my set!

Yep the Modus3's are the shaft of all shafts!! I've had over the past 18 months or so enough sets of clubs/shafts etcetc than I care to remember, and the Modus3's are quite simply the Best.... Flight is Strong, I'd say medium in height, but the feel from these... Im going to compare these against a set of heads with Project x Pxi's, but they will have to be very special to upset the current setup!!

Thanks Guys, but can these be played at a shorter length? I'd never had thought about playing a shorter club until I got my 3wood, which I love to bits and I also find the middle....Bonus!!? I put the good strike down to luck, not realising that the shorter shaft helps, I hit a nice steady Draw with the 3wood but seem to loose the Driver Right? It is a cycalogical thing I know but can a 43.5" driver be longer than the 43.5" ,3 wood? Or as long as a standard 45" shafted Driver?? For once I'm lost it the world golf Technology and it's killing my game!

Any more thoughts on the Egg??

Spoon... Nice to see you on here! The 102, as you know I never really settled with the Head/shaft combo, so decided to part company:( Just wanted a change, thought a lot about the smash factor! I hit the 3 wood really well and always find the middle but with the longer Drivers I've often coughs it near the Toe! As for forgiveness ,I'm all up for that!!..

... Right after sorting my new irons out , my attention is now turning to the Big Dog!! I've narrowed it down to either the new 2012 PRGR Egg impact Driver or the Epon 152 ( heavy head)!! I would want to Play both at 43.5/44 inch .... How would the Epon play at 9.5* but playing around 43.5" ?? I see that the Egg is only 10.5*

I'll second that about the Onoffs, first round with mine today, under match conditions... Yes I hit a few Duff shots but most of the shots ,were unreal, I don't know if it's the Onoffs heads or maybe the Modus3 shafts but these are a serious bit of kit!! Quick picture of my approach 7iron shot, from around 160yards Ps mines the one near the Pin!!

For me the 302's wouldn't give you the Help you "need" .. I've just gamed the Onoffs Forged with Modus3's ( soft stepped) and these give fantastic Results... They don't look to big and chunky, nor do they look like... "I can't hit these" ( I had the 502's before and thought about 302's... So glad I got the Onoffs ... Night and day different) Driver's ... I've tried a few, and heads are Heads, it's all in the shaft!! There's better ppl on here than me to give advice on the shaft needed, interestingly I've come down a flex(Firm) and I've found a massive improvement ... Yes it you try and swing the T*t's of it , you will loose the shaft but this year in focusing on lowering the HC!!

Been out this evening with my new Bat's, and WOW... The shafts are something else, dare I say another level? The Heads are super soft, almost Poles apart from the 502's( could be the wrong shaft combo?) But the Heads and Modus3's .... Awesome, absolutely Awesome!! Thanks to all who have given there advice/help D
