I try to putt SBST ,With the Scotty I noticed towards the end of the roll the ball did move to the right, but with this new putter it doesn't seem to! As with any putter I'll need time to get those long putts right but for now it seems to be working better
  3. Are these Head only??

I may have last years 22* PRGR (9 wood) head only It's in used condition but still very good.... Dale
  5. As anyone tried one of the above 3 woods against the Epon 3HT?? I see there quite a big price difference??

Well finally I've settled on my new putter, having used the Scotty on and off for years I wanted something faced balanced..... So after a search I came across this Taylormade Tour issue Rossa from the Tour Van!!

Yes was always thinking of trimming the Butt section! As I read on here that way you didn't loose the Flex of the Shaft!!.... Thanks again for your reply Dale

Ok as per my other thread.... What is the length of a standard Driver Shaft?? When talking about club length, is it the uncut shaft length or the total length including the head,ie: from base of club to top of Grip? Only I've fitted a new Aldila shaft and it seems to be miles longer than my Quadra FX ....didn't want to tip new shaft as I'm not wanting to make it any stiffer!!.. Aldila quote 46" long..... Any help is appreciated! D

I recently bought the Epon 102 with Quadra Firexpress.... Wow... You need one!! At first I didn't see much difference, but after a game or 2 I decided to swing.... I think there's a misconception ( was for me) that the expensive shafts will knock the ball in to orbit!!, but in reality I only gained a few yards(well about 10/15) BUT what you get is consistency and Feed back, so much so that you gain confidence, and with that comes better Golf! The only problem I have is getting the club back from fellow playing members!
  11. .... Yep that's right I have a Spare Yonex Driver Head and I'm going to fit a Aldila Shaft in it! The shaft is 46" long , so I was thinking maybe Cut 1/2" off the Butt???... Would this be considered "Normal" ?? Also going to try and thicken the grip up to see if this will Slow the hands down and stop me going strong Draw!!... Any advice will be appreciated !! Thanks Dale
  12. Ok so I'm Sat here by the pool in Aruba reading all about the OnOff iron sets and I'm thinking, which set(502's or Labospec) have more off set? Don't get me wrong I'm hitting the 502's well in fact I'm hitting them very well but keep reading nothing but good things about these onoffs , ..... Now I'm thinking is it time to change? Or as the Sun gone to my Head? D
  13. Think I have the Xcon6 In mine Stiff....and just to comfirm these babies hit the ball a long long way!!
  14. Wow.... So glad I know my Epon Dealer! But I have to admit I once bought some Callaway Iron off another forum, many years ago.... These too turned out to be fake, but they had to be sent back to Callaway to be checked as they where that good!.... They even played ok too!! D
  15. Hi thre For what it's worth your swing doesn't sound unlike mine!! I looked at some of your suggestions ,( I almost went for the OnOff 2011 irons) and in the end went for the Epon 502's... I would have liked more off set too but felt the extra forgiveness would help!!.... Keep think 302's would have helped concentrate the eye better!!

Over the years I have always used on and off my Scotty Tei3 Newport ( infact I named my first son Cameron after my trusty putter), but I've now got a faced balanced Tour Ghost Rossa....I find it so much easier to keep square BUT nothing feels like my Cameron!!

.... Has/Does anyone tried putting left handed when using Right handed Irons/Woods? Allow me to elaborate ... I'm not the worlds best putter, intact if I was resonable I'd be off single figures ..... BUT the other week I was out playing when a member joined me on the course... I noticed that he was left handed and on we went.... After a while the ice was broke and we carried on as if we'd been playing partners for ages! It's then I started to miss the odd putt and my mind suddenly thought, hmmmm I'm going to try the left hand putter! To my surprise I didn't pull the putter once, ok I miss read and under hit a few but they rolled so much better, could this be a one off or is this a left/right sided brain thing here?? It's also fair to say I've had more putters the most so never really settled on a "one putter" thing!!(3rd one this month)
