  1. I don't own these but a good customer was trying to figure out a way to get custom fit without proof of Japanese address.

Next time I head to Japan I'm going to get custom fit for sure. I think they run about 500 bucks I'm not sure.

At $500 that is more than reasonable, the JH audio custom series that is available in the US start at over $1000 I believe, and they have a list of places all over north america than you can get a mold made of your ears and ship it to them and they will custom make yours with various colour options, etc.

as well JH audio has some no custom's that are crazy expensive as well, $1500+ up to over $2500 for the JH audio Layla

  3. TSG,

this maybe old news, but there are two more finishes on the yoro page, bringing the total to eleven. these last two are basically double the price of the other nine.

now the translation is poor, but do you have any info on these?

they are "Jill" nickel and "Jill" twilight and as I say, they are double the price of the regular nine finish options.

do you have any accurate info on them?

  4. Modart heads have no problems finding the right shaft, have tried many and results great across the board.

I loved the S, but everyone orders the D.

Chris, have you managed any serious time with the DS what did you think of it compared to the S?

so what then with regards to the new DS? D or new DS? with the adjustability aside, is the DS simply 5cc bigger with a different face material and a slight different internal weigh setup, like you sated in the initial post, this is an evolution not a totally new head? I am torn on going just straight D or this new DS, newer is not always better...correct?

modart MA01DS or jbeam 435 black?

  5. so this companies 70 gram shafts come in three versions; a "distance" profile SZ series; a "control" profile S series; and an "all-around" profile ST series.

they also have 60 gram weight class (two types; all around and all around with sensitivity)

and a 50 gram version (again two types; control and a control variation)

and finally a 40 gram option (three types; a ladies/senior version and then an "all around expert" version R46/T1 for those who want a lightweight shaft and finally one classified for "stability")

there are also finish/colour options; there are monochromatic (19 colours i believe) gradation (again i think 19 colour options) and then there is the bamboo spec options, as well as some marbling, and some sparkling/colour change finishes.
