Wow. Congrats! We'll be expecting a full report on it! :) LOL.
  2. The Muziik one has a nice soft feel like the other Muziik grips. But I do have to say the SuperStroke has been causing some buzz with more tour players jumping on the band wagon. The Jumbo grips are based on some studies that the thicker grip minimizes wrist hinge during the stroke. Seems like a good concept, but you just have to get used to the feel.
  3. The GT-SW has a very sturdy feel, and you can sense it at address. It has a soft feel, not too crazy on the spin, but it does allow the ball to land very soft and the consistent feel makes it very easy to control distance with. The head is well balanced and it almost feels like it swings itself down and through after you take it back. One thing that was pleasantly surprising about this wedge is that it's not as chunky looking as it appears. From the back design, I though the head will look very thick and chunky at address, but it wasn't close to what I imagined.
  4. Love the "new design" they have! It's interesting to have a department that concentrates of Non Conforming heads. The adjustable feature is an added plus, especially for those better players that don't mind playing the non conforming heads and surprising their playing partners with the sudden distance gain! ;)

That's a veeery good looking wedge! Keep us posted on how it performs. Man, I love that "twilight" finish!

I like how the picture looks like an ONOFF promotional brochure pic!
  7. I've tried both the Barque and the Scooner. I agree with the insert being "yuck" LOL. I actually like a bit more crisp feel with the putter and the inset felt a bit too soft for my taste. The Barque has a feel that's on the firm side which I like. It also has a good, heavy weight to it.
  8. That's sounds about what I've been hearing about them. I'm going to have to try it for myself. But I'm going to wait till it warms up to try this big boys club!
  9. I don't have hands on experience with Works Golf products, but they've have great feedback for a strong trajectory with lots of roll. They were said to have a feel that's on the firmer side. I'll try to get some people with hands on experience to chime in.

I'm waiting to try the new Yamahas, but I can tell you that the OnOff Type S is great from experience. It has a nice soft feel with soft sound too (not too metalic). I like how it can keep a flat trajectory even when I try to jump on it. (I'm not the fastest swinger, about 105mph swing speed, but I'd say it will work for a really fast swing speed player too!)
  11. Looks great! I never had a chance to come across those wedges. Any insight on performance?
  12. Great set up! I love how the wedges look very natural as part of the set. I also second Bogeydog on the wedges as being excellent. It has a nice simple design, consistent soft feel across the face.

Good stuff. I love how soft those wedges are. I also find that I love the standard NS PRO shaft set up for all my wedges. I'm able to get a good, consistent feel which I can comfortably control distance with; especially on part shots.
  14. This is a great forgiving blade! I'm very surprised by how these blade designs are becoming very forgiving, starting with the Personals. I haven't hit these enough to say these are more forgiving than the personals, but ... it just may be true. I think this is a definite sign that I should stick to blades! :) I can't wait to have a nice, long testing session with a few different sticks!

I'd say jBeam, Ryoma, Crazy and Romaro should always be in consideration when in search of a driver! Ofcourse it depends on what you need, but these brands offer great performance and feel. The jBeam in my bag is hard to get rid of no matter how much I like new drivers. Just serves me well. :)
  16. Sounds like a very interesting set up. I haven't tried this exact combination, but I've tried the shaft with many other heads and got to say it is very solid. You'll be able to be very aggressive through the ball and not worry so much about timing. It will bring the trajectory down compared to most shafts, but with the ST head, I assume it'll have a great mid trajectory overall. Its a great shaft, especially if you're going after your drives!
  17. Geotech's been producing some great irons. I love the concept of having more options for the irons. If they put it on drivers why not the irons. :)
  18. Interesting. I love his putters and wedges, but never tried his irons. Too bad he doesn't produce them anymore (Or maybe good, so he can concentrate on more putters and wedges :) I would have loved to compare them myself.
  19. Weather is Very Cold, but looking at all the new golf clubs will get you fired up! LoL :)
  20. I'm ready to try this one out! Can't wait to see how the Concave Sole performs in various conditions.
  21. I love these! I might get one for the 2013 season for myself! I especially love the new milling on the face. You can see the cross pattern which is cool. It feel soft just by looking at it!!! :)
  22. That's an interesting choice. Sounds like something I'd like to try myself. I think the easy launching ST head with the lower launch Diamana X would produce a great combination. Have you tried this yet?
  23. Great decision. Do you have any shafts in mind?
  24. I'd say get the Personals and wait for the new Kyoeis before you pull the trigger on other options. The Personals are blade design, but are actually very easy to play. You'd be surprised how much forgiveness it has.
  25. That's great! You just have to find the right combination of head and shaft. Did you see big difference in trajectory ?
