New Epon Products... RF again.
Ya. I think Epon will come out with something that will amaze us again. They just need some time to regroup... It's hard to keep producing "hits" every year! :)

Not a Big Miura Fan
Haven't had the chance to play the new Miura stuff, but looks like I have to check it out after hearing all the buzz. The new wedges are looking good.

It's (almost) Winter in the Midwest. If you won the lottery...
I'd get a set from all the brands! (well the good ones at least) I'm always curious to try out everything the comes out. And even try out the 10k Honma set too! Then go to Endo and work with them to create a fully customized blade set. :)

Yamaha Tour Limited Irons 2009-2012
Looks like the 2008 is getting alot of attention, but can't beat the feel of the 2012. The 2012 and 2008 have a very simple design and appearance which is appealing for me. I like a well balanced appearance which. No funky designs like the 2010 model.

UPDATED Oct 10th: Custom Mizunos from Yoro Craft Thread
All these Mizunos are looking so good! I may need to try a set in the near future. :) Still dreaming of the Twilight finish... Love it!

Crazy 460 vs Ryoma D-1 premia
Good point. Alot of the "standard" drivers that are all over the market is made to have a hook bias, because most of the population is trying to cure a slice. So it just takes some getting used to. The Crazy 460 is a really forgiving head. I love that crunch when I hit it on the button! :)

Ion Sports Zedo H monocoque?...
Interesting, I'll have to research a bit about this driver.

Fragile Shaft
Man, that Rim Golf Club in AZ looks awesome! And good luck to all with the shaft situations. I know cold weather does have an affect on the material, but its usually not enough to cause a break in the shaft.

Romaro 435 LX vs the JBeam/Crazy 435
Yup. jBeam heads have been my friend for a while haven't found a replacement for them yet. And interesting about the V-Spec. I het it a few time but with a shaft that was a bit too weak for me so it was hard to tell. I did notice that the ball stayed relatively flat, even with a weak shaft. And finding that perfect spin rate is no easy task. It's always about finding the right combination (shaft, head, weight, etc) and I love that never ending search for that perfect club! :)

Romaro 435 LX vs the JBeam/Crazy 435
Sorry for the confusion. The 425 Tour and 435II are similar in performance, but I found the 425 easier to keep lower and I liked the fact it was easier to keep consistent in windy conditions, which I play in quite often. Loft for loft, they are pretty close in performance. When I say the 425 is easier to keep lower, I am getting very very picky. I wouldn't mind playing the 435II at all, especially in good weather. For Romaro the 435LX, does get up slightly higher. Good to add some carry distance with. But we must remember that the jBeam heads were talking about are very low spinning heads that are designed to keep a flat trajectory. (one of the lowest spinning heads I've played)

Kamui BW-02 Forged Wedge
That wedge looks great! Slightly larger and definitely forgiving wedges. I hope you are getting some good results. I'd assume they produce a strong, piercing trajectory. I actually like that slightly wearing look to it.

2013 Yamaha V Forged Tour Build - **UPDATED**
Sounds like a great combo! Can't wait for the review. I haven't had the chance to hit the new Yamahas yet so very interested. And that shaft choice....verrry nice, it'll be a one of a kind set!

Romaro 435 LX vs the JBeam/Crazy 435
The jBeam has treated me well for a while now and I love how it keeps the spin rate low. The Romaro is a good competitor and I feel like it gets up a little more than the jBeam head. I see the big difference when I really go after one. The jBeam is easier to keep that penetrating trajectory without having to worry about any ballooning.

Romaro Ray H Iron Review
Nice write up. Romaro has been impressive with all the quality irons they produce. Love their pure appearance with great forgiveness. Romaro is on top of my list for irons to play for 2013 season. :)

winter drivers = boron shafts.
Always interesting to match up low launch heads and high launch shafts or the other way around!

2013 Yamaha V Forged Tour Model 1st Range Session
Nice review! Thanks for the great info. The modus 3 sounds good to me.
-
custom painted clubs
The wood grain finishes look pretty awesome! It looks like a softer feel when looking at it. lol

S-Yard T.388 - Designed by Kenji Kobayashi
Oh man, Now curious to try this one! I better start stretching. :)
-
Geotech Prototype RF700 a-Spec Hi Cor
Its a great driver for that extra pop and nice metallic sound. I think it's one of the best buy for your money! (If you're looking for that distance gainer) Love the traditional looks of the head. It's cool to see a "players" type head with a non conforming face!

Jbeam 435R review - this shxt is crazy...
Cool. Def. what I was expecting to hear! Man an 8.2 is a beast of a shaft. I need to hit the gym hard to use play that! lol

Who makes the best golf balls?
I think they are just a bit firmer in feel, but they do perform very well. Consistent feel and spin, with good distance. They are way more durable than the ProVx, you'll get more holes in with one ball.
-
custom painted clubs
That's great. Now that's a fully custom club! :)
