Favorite wedges
my favorite wedge, an old titleist elk, had little to do with the wedge itself and everything to do with it getting worn down by my swing. the sole, (broken in perfectly to my swing) was worn so severely that you could barely read the word "titleist"! i re-groved it twice but finally the face was so concave that i had to give it up. i could play any shot from any lie or hazard inside 70yds to within a few feet with that thing!!! not having that part of my game still costs me almost a stroke per round.

Epon Tour F4 Ball Review
that's the only fault i can find with the original penta...i enjoy it's workability but if you're not careful you can put a little too much side spin on your shots, including drives. however, i don't mind giving up distance for control but if this ball lives up to your billing, i'll have it all.

Epon Tour F4 Ball Review
this ball could be worth a try as your statement sums up my feelings about the original penta (which i game now). the penta is the only ball i've liked since the original gen 1 prov1x.

Thoughts on shafts (esp driver/wood)
titleist has done this and it's pretty good for the most part. unfortunately it only compares usdm's.

New Driver
you may find that the proper shaft may be what you're looking for. in one driver i have a royal deco and you simply can't hit it left. in another i have an ly-02 and plays the perfect draw.

what are you wearing...on your wrist?!
chiromikey replied to chiromikey's topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech Gearawesome find stew! my seiko black monster cost about the same and is one of my favs. to be honest, it gets just as many compliments (if not more) than anything else i own!

Epons with aerotechs?
the aerotechs are mid trajectory and there's no reason you couldn't adjust the lofts on the 502's to bring the flight down if needed.

New Driver
it won't have the best feel out of jdm drivers but it delivers the best performance and might have the profile you're looking for. the jbeam or crazy original 435!

Epon... Golf Balls!

Epon... Golf Balls!
if we can figure out who actually makes them for epon i think the rest will fall in place...

Cigar and golfing
chiromikey replied to yukisan's topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech Gearmy cigar smoking has nothing to do with relaxing...i just think golf and cigars make a good combo. a round of siglo iii or siglo vi usually make their appearance when playing with good friends.

Epons with aerotechs?
i have the aerotech i125's in my epon af-tours and they're a pretty good set. i actually didn't expect to like these shafts as much as i do and think they're as good as any steel shaft for most players. my swing speed and distances are almost spot on with yours so i wouldn't worry about the weight or flex but i would be concerned with the finished length those clubs are built to. the aerotechs seem to go harsh if played at the shorter japanese standard so i'd highly recommend them be built at least to 1/4" over the american standard (38" 5iron). if you can get used to that length the clubs will reward you beyond your expectations.

SATINIZED Epon Personal blades
i posted over there but i'll chime in here too. the monacos are so well balanced that i think you'll swing these with very little concern. as far as a comparison between the aerotechs and monacos, i have the i125's in my af-tours so i'm probably not a good person to ask regarding the i95's.

Shaft input - Aerotech vs Monaco
the monacos are so well balanced that i doubt you'll have any problems.

***** MY "new" driver builds THREAD ******
as always...looking forward!

WTB Monaco's stiff 3-pw
yeah, once people hit these they tend to fall in love. i still think i prefer c-tapers but i doubt i'll sell my monacos any time soon.

WTB Monaco's stiff 3-pw
that's gonna be a tough one...but good luck! ;)
