  1. By the way, you have some really great gear!
  2. Unfortunately, I can't answer your specific question as I've never seen or heard of an FW with your desired loft, but I've noticed that your 3W plays at 44". How about you loose an inch or 2 off the butt, and that way you've instantly widened the distance gap between your driver and 3W.
  3. Yep, that's the one. With that weight in that location always shouts 'draw bias' to me
  4. I think the low kick point is for a high launch, and the mid or medium kick point is for a mid launch. Obviously, and just in case you're wondering, a high kick point is for a low launch.
  5. Chris what's the purpose of the screw/weight near the heel?
  6. Funnily enough, I've tried a conforming Works Ray 9.75* and a Yamaha 4.6V 9*, both with a Kai'li 60 'X'. I thought that the ball flight was very very similar. Just about a mid-flight for me. I think the Thunder is the same as the Ray, so I reckon you'll be ok with the 11* Kamui when compared to the Yamaha 10* to 10.5*.
  7. Yes I've heard about the harsh feeling face. Maybe there's a shaft out there that can soften that face, possibly a Royal Deco. I've tried a jBEAM HG445 with a Crazy TJ46 6.9 and that was also harsh feeling. It had a great sound though. Is there a Crazy/jBEAM with a soft face?
  8. For me Dale I think the ball flight is a little lower than Modus, but with less feel.
  9. Great info, thanks. I've gamed an FW80 and ute n 'S', and could make them go left a little too much for my liking, so I'm kinda thinking a Crazy in '7.7' might be the way to go. I've been playing a Kai'li 60 in 'X' and loved it. I reckon a Crazy in '7.7' should be a good match for a Diamana in 'X'. Regarding weight vs stiffness, I THINK my preference is lighter weight and extra stiff shaft, purely so that I can keep my swing speed up whilst keeping some modicum of ball control with the stiffer shaft. Can't wait to try the 435 to see if all the hype is justified. It may not be for me though as I like a soft feeling face. We'll see.
  10. I'd use the shaft that you can hit the best and most consistent. If that shaft feels the best and goes further too then that's a bonus. As I've tried the Quadra shafts before, I'd make f1 an offer on his Quadra and try those out :)
  11. Prefer a mid-mallet head shape, but the finish looks stunning Steve. The shaft is the icing on a very nice cake. Interested to know how the shaft plays compared to steel. Keep us posted.
  12. Sounds like a fun experiment you've got going on there. I'm sure you'll love them when you've found the right weight. Yeah I'm still playing the Roddio shafts. Not played to much (terrible weather) to get an idea of how they all play, but I'll get there! These aren't going anywhere............unless I got hold of some Crazy CBI80 limited shafts. Lol
  13. Mob - what is you SS? I'll have the chance to hit the 435 with the same shaft later this month. My SS is about 105.
  14. Hi f1. I assume the ones you have in the BST were just too light?
  15. Oooooo, this sounds right up my street spec wise. Have you tried a Yamaha and can you compare?
  16. Complete opposite to the 'Bold' wedges. I may prefer the SYard wedges!
  17. That's a great comparison. I know that people have mentioned it before but the side by side shots highlight how much offset the Personals have.
  18. Ooooo sounds like a comparison test is on the cards
  19. Have you tried it yet? Better than your V203?
  20. Hey Dale, you slowing down in your old age mate? ;)
