  1. I play a 44.5" driver. I found that I am willing to sacrifice a bit of distance for accuracy and it has paid dividends.
  2. No input?
  3. Only one I have played is the Tourstage 405. Really liked it because it had a deeper face than most drivers at the time I played it and reduced my spin numbers (a must for any driver I play) but launched a bit high for an 8.5* (although, it could have been the shaft). Surprisingly forgiving and looks great at setup.
  4. I am curious if anyone has experience with one and/or both of these conforming wedges? I'm a good ball striker and I am looking for something that will maximize my spin and is good for a hitter (pretty much a digger/driver) and Yururi really caught my eye. I prefer teardrop wedges over rounded, but I am interested in hearing insight in the Rupas as well if you have any. You guys have been at the JDM addict/ho'ing process longer than me, so I figured I'd throw this out there and see what people think on their experiences.

Had the same question. Wow. Nice. Those guys are like 20 minutes away from me. Gonna have to run over there and check them out!
  6. So I was looking around the interwebs using Google to image search some Tourstage items and I stumbled on this picture claiming to be fo the 2012 Tourstage X-wedges. If I recall correctly, last year the 52* only came in 8* bounce, but according to this picture on the sole markings, there is a 10* bounce option. Can anyone confirm/deny the existence of a 10* bounce 2012 x-wedge? This is the type of thing that happens when you spend too much time trying to avoid doing work and on google.
  7. I just can't seem to acquire the taste for most scotch. There is something about the peat-mossy taste in most that doesn't do it for me. I prefer my whiskey darker and with a high proof, which means I gravitate to bourbon, preferably with about 10+ years on it. Usually in the rotation: Bookers, Pappy Van Winkle, Buffalo Trace and Black Maple Hill 16. However, one scotch I do have an affinity for is the Glenrothes 1992. It was my celebration bottle after taking the law school admissions exam.
  8. The Yuyuri raw gekku wedges are not conforming... they have grooves like razor blades. If you want conforming, try the Rupas Seida, Chili or the Tour conforming (the gold paintfill, not the white paintfill). I honestly dont know if there is a raw yuyuri wedge that is conforming, so someone else will likely have to pick it up from there.
  9. Those are sexy. Even sexier with the Monacos, I am sure (saw the monaco's in an Adams MB2 head... the black/copper contrast is SICK).
