  1. The Corey Pavin "palms out" grip worked well for me. One of the best putters in my Monday night league plays a 2 ball Odyssey and stands like 3 feet away and has the toe of putter tilted way into the air. When it comes to swinging a driver or irons, there's proof that certain techniques will generate more distance, accuracy, power, etc. When it comes to putting, it's whatever works, man.
  2. I've been on vacation for a week so I haven't been around much, just some brief stuff from the ol' iphone. Edited...
  3. It's 10.5 sorry
  4. No one interested in a gorgeous driver?

Anyone know of something that can be applied to one to prevent any hazing or scratches in normal use?

    Baddmnkey needs this !!!!!
  7. Yeah there's nothing too exciting about the grind on these. Sometimes something just works and it looks like that's the case here.
  8. I know one guy really likes it. Other than that the silence is rather deafening...
  9. The RomaRo barque putter
  10. What about the also-heavy milled barque?
  11. I had the opportunity to hold this actual club yesterday. Absolute mint. Great seller and hell of a golfer here. Don't be scared by low post count.
  12. I'm really excited about this driver based on looks and who designed it. I am a little curious though what advantages come with the smaller head? There are obviously disadvantages with a small head, so I'm wondering what this brings to the table to balance it out. I know when I went to the more compact headed KPX from an r11s my striking improved greatly, idk if it the size or what but I hit the center of the club way more often. Maybe it's a visual or mental thing.
  13. Fluid Film Cheap, lanolin based, solvent free, lasts a long time, environmentally friendly. http://www.theruststore.com/Fluid-Film-1175-oz-Aerosol-P179C67.aspx This would be my first choice if sword oil wasn't an option. It can also be purchased at any John Deere store.
  14. Mine are coming with 950s stock. Thinking of going with recoils at this time. Hard to argue with results of Aerotechs i110 tho too. Maybe I should just play them with the Nippons it really isn't a bad shaft. Oh wait...I do live adjacent to the "windy city".
  15. Thanks T. Can't wait to get/hit mine! This has been one of the most excruciating instances I've ever had waiting on new clubs because in so excited about them.
  16. They've been reading the threads on TSG...pretty soon they'll have recoils or thumps or roddio

Want an FW80 7.7 for an Egg 5W so it matches the Crazy shafts in my other Eggs. PM me.
  18. I am sure the Yamaha is an excellent club. Buy it and give us a review. :) I have an Egg 4i+ utility and can't say enough about it from a practical use standpoint. The thing is so easy to use from any lie, long, etc. I had a 3i+ as well but there didn't seem to be a big difference in distance so I sold the 3. 4 is 21* and 3 is 19*.
  19. Rory switched so can Kevin
  20. They should make a US version called Dances With Wolves
  21. I see different variations of this Kyoei blade pop up a lot of places, and it almost always seems to be highly regarded. I guess just pick the one that appeals to you aesthetically...too bad they ALL appeal to me aesthetically. Love this one but with a gun to my head I would probably have to go with the flatback...or the vega...or the crazy limited...arrgggghhhhh
  22. I have a great reply to this that probably would be frowned about in this establishment
  23. High mod carbon iron shafts for me pretty well define the law of diminishing returns. So of course I want some.
  24. How about naked lady balls
  25. Yeah I asked him about it last week, he is gaming a Gold's and is letting go of the Zen. Nothing fake here, just a ho like the rest of us. Also, I believe some people prefer to sell on Ebay than sell here because they don't want everyone and their dog to know what they have or don't have.
