New Epon Products... RF again.
Epon has the name and clout to pull in extraordinary club designers so I'm not worried there. I think they're throwing these rereleases out much in the same way bands throw out remix albums to buy some time and stay in the public eye until they've got actual new material to release. At least I hope.

New Epon Products... RF again.
Refresh my memory...what is the point of these releases again? Lower price points for foreign markets?

Not a Big Miura Fan
What exactly appealed to you about them in particular? How do they compare with the Golds? (I think you have golds)

List of all Japanese forging companies
I read an article about Honma that stated their clubs were all cast which obviously was not correct. Good journalism

List of all Japanese forging companies
I'm pretty sure Honma clubs are all cast actually.

Yamaha Tour Limited Irons 2009-2012
Does the face milling on irons make them softer the same way it makes putters softer? Never played a milled iron so I'm curious. My only concern with the milling is seeing how long it resists wearing off. Hopefully the milling lasts a good long while.

Romaro Question : Spot the difference
I thought the star meant they had a 60g power booster placed low and deep to provide the ultimate in forgiveness on mis**ts but I could be wrong...

It's (almost) Winter in the Midwest. If you won the lottery...
Start with a special blade with a high CG, then go with a no paintfill stamp of a Rhode Island Red on the muscle and 44g of blue label in the butt of every iron

Famous last words... I like where my bag is heading....however I'd probably feel like I won the lottery if I SOLD it haha.

Well...I have and do...however the gold thing just screams wealthy older man haha. Just giving you a hard time. If I were ever in a position to spend 10k on a set of irons it had better be an incredible experience! Oh and don't think about the age thing...I'm 31 and routinely get whooped by 50+ guys in league. :)

Geotech Prototype RF700 a-Spec Hi Cor
All depends on who I'm playing. I've got hardcore buddies and ones that are more concerned with shooting the s**t than shooting under 90. And C I am a little concerned with your pseudo admission that some golf clubs arouse you! Lol

Geotech Prototype RF700 a-Spec Hi Cor
I just picked one of these up from vistancia, going to throw an Oban Devotion 7 05 Flex in it. I really am not sure why I bought it other than it was cheap, because I can't really use it for league or any competition, but I think it will be fun to mess around with for weekend rounds with buddies n beer. I will post a full comprehensive review on it once I get it built and have some time (and weather) to put it in play.

Baldo TT Prototype VT511 driver looks sweet!
Thing looks pretty sweet...sound sweet by description. Having a hard time with the name "Baldo" however. Sounds like someone from a Hobbit movie. I guess if that hobbit makes great golf clubs then it's cool.

Onoff Forged iron comparison 09 vs11
While I haven't any experience with either, I have done exhaustive research on both models. From what I understand the 09 is a bit smaller and more "playeresque" than the 11. I think the 11 is perhaps a more "automatic" iron in that it has a larger sweet spot due to it's somewhat larger profile. Both are supposed to have tremendously soft feel and ease of use. They both use almost identical technology to lower the CG, the 09 uses more tungsten than the 11 but not at the expense of raising the CG. From what I have learned and read, you could probably make your decision based solely on which iron appeals to you more aesthetically and not see a ton of playability difference either way. If splitting hairs it appears to me the 11 may be a tick more forgiving while the 09 might be a little more compact. Hope this helps.

It's (almost) Winter in the Midwest. If you won the lottery...
Getting dark at 4:30 and not being able to play any golf is driving me nuts. Right now it is 30f and dropping, with 50 MPH gusts, and snowing like mad. Good time though to scout out gear both new and old and try to pick out some potential gear for next season (assuming you're one of us unlucky ones that has to miss part of the year). Out of sheer boredom and interest in hearing some responses, I thought I would pose the question: If you won the lottery tonight and could pick any setup(s) for your bag(s) you wanted, what would you do and why?
- Looking for Ryoma Premia head.
