I have a Yamada Imperial in copper. it is an excellent putter, great sound and feel. Slightly off center hits still roll true. Ashim

I have had my 56 bent to a 54 as well After 2 rounds and several range sessions . I have found that for the moment out of the sand i am taking a much larger amount of sand with the ball then i normally do. This is more to do with the bounce for which I may need to adjust to .Without creating any comparisons to my usual wedge, the Bold has an amazing amount of spin. Out of the Bunker there is almost no roll just dead stop. From around the green the wedge is amazing lands very soft and stays. I have also had to adjust my distances on chip shots as they have consistently come up short. Again this has more to do with spin and stopping power. My 58 degree wedge has been great for the so called flop shot, makes contact with the turf and allows the leading edge to slide through the ball, releasing it high. Overall I am happy with both wedges so much so that I ordered a 50 degree to potentially replace my most reliable club in the bag. As with any new club there is the break in period, which I am still in, I will post my impressions again in a few days.

As someone new to the boards I do appreciate looking at ongoing reviews as it makes it easier to pick clubs that would suit my game. So please continue with updates some of us are reading them and finding the info to be very useful

Steve I think putting in a better shaft in either the Hot x or RBZ is a great idea as that would be a cost effective way of experimenting with different heads. Like I said earlier I like the RBZ head just the stock shaft is ok. Ashim

Steve I use the RBZ 3 wood. I know it is not JDM but it is ridiculously easy to hit. My swing speed is about 105 and I am able to hit it without much effort around 230-240 yards off the tee. Easy of the turf as well goes very straight. I wis I had changed the stock shaft to one more workable. Might be good to use JDM shaft with the USDM head.

Finally played yesterday with the 56 degree. Course is still wet. I must admit the wedge lived up to the hype. I posted pics earlier this week. The wedge plays great. It makes clean crisp contact with the ball and the turf. I found the spin to be exceptional, ball literally stops on a dime. Out of the sand the bounce was perfect on the 56 as it cut through the sand and the ball flew out perfectly, only concern was that the ball did not release, this might be due to the spin or a flaw in my shot. I love the weight and balance of the club, fits my need for a club with some heft to it. Will update when I play again tomorrow.

my daughter loves it so much she took it off the Romaro and now has it on her driver. I did really like the pink color!!
