  16. This is a great thread Stu.....I have just embarked on building my own clubs so will be keen to hear comments posted on this subject, I have had it in my mind for a while now that I am more suited to a much heavier head to shaft ratio as it allows me to play a stiffer flex. I have found through great expense and harassing my local pro to chop and change heads and shafts for me that although my swing speed probably says that I should use a R flex of SR at best by using a heavier head it allows the S flex to work correctly; hence getting the best out of it, I am a big believer that the heavier the head to the shaft the more work you will get out of the shaft maximizing its attributes...interested to know more from TSGs experienced members in this field and hear everyone's thoughts...nice 1 Stu
  17. Haha...yep she is the one, very glad I didn't let it go for crazy money for sure, just glad I didn't let it go at all now.

    Yep...Thanks for your interest though : )
  19. No tip required as specialist fairway but did extend an inch as played epon 202 HT in 3w at 43.5" so made the driver 45.5" with extension, FW heads are usually quite a bit heavier so should easy handle the extra weight.
