EPON AF-105?
Yep it killed me getting rid of my set of coppers but you wanted so I gave them up. They were my paper weights for a few months. It took me over a year to replace them, had them here for a month and still haven't gamed on the track. P2 wedges have had a couple rounds but the Toyos have that swagger and feel I like when I take one out of the bag. When epon was sold here on TSG my 551s came in a black samurai box with a personal letter in a black epon envelope with epon proper carbon ferrules. That and golds have been my 2 stand out purchases and receiving of golf gear. Thats when the job was done well and Epon was a stand out.

Nope. Have a zodia 21 also, or an epon 18 or 2 x vega 17/22

EPON AF-105?
If we waned to play good golf and not enjoy the gear as was pointed out earlier we would all use one set and stick with it. For me the fun and purchase of gear is about the golf to impress mentality, be in awe of my gear when I pull it out of the bag. I will leave old mate who plays every week with the same setof cobras to concentrate on his score and try take my money every week.

EPON AF-105?
The debate goes on lol. 3 questions before lets say the Kai Was epon known for distance? Was it known for feel? Was it known for it beautiful design and craftsmanship If you were a fan and loved epon gear before the P2 and your answers were no, yes, yes. Then you didn't care about distance, you liked epon for other reasons. Chris I know you are a fan of epon haha, but I cant see any comparison of the cut out shapes of say the 103 VS any nike driver. Or any other. The 103 is minimal marketing just a beautiful shape. Zen is just ridiculous good looking and perfection, P1s were minimalist jaw droppers that played with shape and reflection. Cant you see my point here, or am I living in cloud epon land and just expecting to much from the best non commercial brand in the world with all the means necessary to go above and beyond. I haven't seen an epon staffers on any tour as yet, ergo not full on commercial. My point was they were beautiful with exceptional craftsmanship and now they dont have as much of that but more of the other. Distance and forgiveness.

I agree with you that the ease of use with the 105 is an advantage (apparently) but that can be had with the 152....for 98% of golfers who need a bit of spin, your forgetting how far you hit the ball compared to most others. I think the modern Epon has no design features, all surface etch and paint, or the opposite, nothing at all. I think the advancements in materials and technology make a difference not the design at all, for instance you could have the p1 design with p2 technology also the 103 shape with 105 face. Its just new versus old. But I am sure if both the P1 and 103 were reseased today and never seen befor they would be better than any on the market. You get me.? I know many on here who think the 4.6 RPM is the best driver ever and the yammy tours are the best irons ever, just so happens they are also a product of the Endo golden years. Personaly I think the Epon design has gone backwards. They used to be ground breaking in that regard. Zen, 103, 301, p1, 551, sus and so on, these are some of the best looking and feeling clubs ever made, I personally dont think the new gear will be remembered for its looks or will be a stand out when all said and done. IMO

Much of a muchness on most drivers these days, what suits the eye and feels good for you. I paid the same for a 103 as could have had the 105 knowing fine well the resale would be less on the 103, but I wasnt buying to sell, just to play. Have the YZ 11 also and if it came down to feel that would be my choice...11* and it still not enough launch and spin for me. By all accounts it is superb for others. Whats your current gamer Dave?

EPON AF-105?
I have many who disagree and are going back with the 103 after trying the 105. (not my words) Epon fitter here in oz Better feel and sound with the 103. Distance not much difference depending on the shaft and the user. 103 looks better made. I had a choice, 103 or 105 both presented, went with the custom spec 103, for me its the best made epon driver to date. and has stood the test of time. I have a feeling the 105 will share the same fate as the 153 in a year or so. KK designed 103 is just stunning and a performer. Just MO Butthese things are just awesome, best KK designed driver.

Technica 2200
So much good gear around D (past & present) it would be difficult picking lemons ;) I am looking forward to re shafting these though with some nice ferrules (epon single silver ring) then a set of grip-master black wraps. These will be the coolest clubs I own, not sure if they will be the best but fun non the less.
