  6. I have 2 chrome but not the blacks
  7. They come as smoked, it’s not a rich black
  8. Who ever fitted it used a ferrule that is too big and probably didn’t epoxy it on as they put it on will not cause any problems only for looks. a good builder will pull the shaft and refit with correct size ferrule no problems at all.
  9. Costly exercise but always learn from your mistakes.
  10. It’s not hard at all if you have some practical skills and take your time ask lots of questions but get the right gear. Shaft puller is essential
  11. Well definitely this one is. i would now love to see internal design of driver heads it would be really interesting
  12. Ok long story but had to try and drill out what seem to be a tungsten weight left in a driver head as the bore depth was only about an inc. so after a lot of frustration and no success then a snapped drill but that destroyed the crown paint work. I was then determined to understand why it could not be drilled out or removed. To my surprise a massive tungsten weight was internally designed in the head as pics will show. I am now understanding why a lot of jap drivers I find very hard to hit straight and not go left! its was a disappointing to destroy this head but this is the joys of doing club work. anyone else got any cool stories/pics to show.
  13. White spirits and or gumption works a treat
  14. They (all new gear) seem like they have to try an add gimmicks for Marketing agree stu clean lines would be great to see
  15. I agree to disagree. i think in a public forum it is good to know who you can ask for advise and knowledge. i hope it does get the forum rolling again especially atm. anyway I think you have answered my questions. some great new gear coming out! keep it rolling.
  16. And being paid/supported for it? Just want to understand that’s all
  17. Out of interest are you now on the tsg payroll?
  18. Get them and don’t look back. i have the gen 1 cb and wedges. agree with all your comments think the longer you play them the miuraisms will become a distant memory. its the first time every that I never consider looking at irons. i know there will be haters out there but you can’t argue with quality. also take a look at the Kyoei putter. Yummy ps pick the 4 iron up too from where you found the 6 iron hard to find
