  1. There's actually a Tour Issued Yonex driver on eBay right now, that was Colin Montgomerie's club. Tour issued Yonex is pretty rare I think! Texsport
  2. http://www.puttertalk.com Check the Community section. You have to register to see the pics! I like Gold's Factory and C&L(aka 350milled.com) These are better than Scotty's and the custom stuff is readily available at lower prices than SC. Texsport
  3. I agree with the ratings for 105mph+. I've recently acquired an X-Drive 460 and it's the best driver I've ever had! Texsport
  4. Update! These hybrids are really good! High, soft landing shots and the heads are very forgiving! Best feeling hybrids I've ever hit--and nothing else is even close! I haven't hit the Bridgestone yet, but Sonartec and Adams are dead feeling and land too hot compared to the Yonex! Texsport
  5. The clubs finally made it to a Yonex golf site with more info. On the Yonex USA site---but not Japan! http://www.yonexusa.com/golf_cyberstar_xc.cfm The CX is the men's model and the CX FL is the ladies. I think Monty is playing a CX now.
  6. Some hybrids rated here: http://www.golftestusa.com/specialty_clubs.html Yonex rated best feeling of this group and long.
  7. I play Tour Concept X1 shafts at D-4 in my Bridgestone Z-101 irons and they're the best feeling, most accurate and consistent shafts I've ever hit.
  8. Thanks for the info pitbull808. You're confirming what I've read about the Yonex hybrids. I'm going to try a 16* and a 19* Yonex CX that are supposed to be Japanese Tour issued. I bought them from a Yonex staff pro. I see you use graphite shafts in your hybrids. I've had great success using Tour Concept shafts in Sonnartec hybrids. I like the fact that I get more spin and the ball stops on greens instead of running out/off the greens as I've experienced with graphite. I'm a low ball hitter!
  9. That's the club I'm talking about. It was listed in Golf Digest's "Hot List". There are male and female versions. If it's anything like the Yonex Cyberstar Nanospeed 460 driver, it should be very nice feeling at impact and produce a high trajectory.
  10. I'm talking about the new Yonex XC hybrids rated as the "best feeling" and some of the "longest hitting" hybrids by Golf Digest and the British Women & Golf magazine. Graphite top and steel body I think. There's not even any information about them on the Yonex site.
  11. I think Yonex has a new hybrid on the Japanese Tour. Some have shown up on eBay. Does anyone know about them?
  12. The FTB 90 was a Tour Only precursor to the 904HB. It plays a little stiffer and tighter than the 904HB and IROD CB 100-lower trajectory and tighter shot dispersion. Tour Spec FTB 90 is a black shaft with Tour Spec paint job below grip area. Not as flashy as the 904HB's chrome finish but looks real nice with a black headed hybrid. I much prefer it to the 904HB but it's a little difficult to find and sells for about $150 new. I've played an FTB 100X in a TM Rescue Mid Tour 22*, and FTB 90s in both 17* & 19* Sonartec Mds. KLI
  13. Great wedge shafts! If you want spin--this is the ticket. I'm playing an X1 in a 52* and an S3 in a 60*. Both wedges are D7-8 swingweights. Terrific feel, control and spin. Surprisingly the S3 is not over powered by the heavy D8 head. I think these are better than the DG S-400 I played forever!
  14. I'm hitting X1 Tour Concepts in Z101s and would call the impact feel crisp. I feel most of the kick closer to the tip than with DG X100s. I'm hitting my TCs much straighter, with a much more consistent trajectory than DG X100s. Also, I'm 5-10 yards longer with each iron. Can't beat longer AND straighter-great shafts!
