Quadra FEX vs Quadra Max WBQ
Fellas, Really appreciate all your advice, keep it coming. Any and all is very much appreciated. I play D5 Swing Weight so that softens the club up a bit too and my transition is slightly aggressive so sounds like the X will be just perfect. I might have to rethink the 7.4 Crazy but I like buying and trying as much as playing so the ho in me will be keen to try the slightly heavier Crazy Noir CB80 LS W in 7.7 if the one I have doesn't work out. Other shafts on my must try are the Waccine GR77 SX and BangVoo 787 X. Thanks again Matthew

Quadra FEX vs Quadra Max WBQ
I thought a Crazy 7.4 was the equivalent to a Quadra X, both accommodate a swing upto 110mph ?

Quadra Fire Express 2014 Prototype Ver.1 Announced!
This shaft looks to be a beast :) I'm usually picking the stiffest they have now I'm only a F3 :( The ho in me is sure to get one though ;)

Quadra FEX vs Quadra Max WBQ
I found the Epon 103 9.5* even with a Motore Speeder 6.3 TS Stiff (253 cpm) to be lower launch than the Epon with a Motore Speeder 7.3 TS Stiff (260cpm). This was on a launch monitor. I concluded from this that difference was because the Epon 103 was 9.5* and the Epon Zero 10.5*. The only other difference is that the Epon 103 is D6 while the Epon Zero is D5. I love the look of the Epon 103 so you guys have me thinking that I will give it one last try, this time with the Quadra Max WBQ 75 X. The order is being shipped so hopefully will arrive this week, I can them get them built at the weekend and review them next week. So going with the following, all D5 and 45"; 1. Epon 103 9.5* & Quadra Max WBQ 75 X 2. Modart D 10* & Crazy Noir CB80 LS 7.4 3. Epon Zero & Motore Speeder 7.3 TS Stiff 4. Jbeam 535 11* & Quadra FEX 75 X.

Quadra FEX vs Quadra Max WBQ
Excellent write up. Thank you. How did you find the WBQ in the Zero compared to the Epon 103 ? I also have an Epon 103 9.5* but I find that too low launching so it is up for sale. So to conclude, the Max WBQ launches higher than the original FEX ? The WBQ should be easier to turn over too ? That's interesting as I would have thought it would have been the other way around as the WBQ as a reinforced tip section. That changes my plan, I will try the Original FEX in the JBEAM 535 now.

Quadra FEX vs Quadra Max WBQ
Hey all, Being new to JDM and in true ho style, I am building a nice collection. My latest purchases are an original Quadra Fire Express 75 X and a Quadra Max WBQ 75 X. I tried the new Quadra TP-V 75 S and the flex wasn't right for me. While I haven't ruled it out totally in an X, I thought I would go with tried and trusted first. This is where you guys come in, please share any experience you have with these shafts. I still have to decide what goes where as I have the following driver heads to choose from; * Epon Zero * Modart D 10* * JBEAM 535 11*. Thanks in advance and if you are going out today, good luck, it is dangerous out there ;) Matthew

Jbeam 425 vs Epon Zero
There was love early on for the Jbeam 425 but the Epon Zero came back strong. A true clash of the Titans :)

Jbeam 425 vs Epon Zero
Okay, the consensus is that the Jbeam 425 is more forgiving. Anyone have a 10.5* JBEAM 425 for sale ;)
-
Jbeam 425 vs Epon Zero
Can anyone quantify how much more forgiving the Jbeam 425 is to the Epon Zero ? I hit one out of the heel with the Zero and I was surprised how far it went. Anyone with launch monitor comparisons between the two ?

Went a different direction - Thinking of getting a combo set of Miura Giken 5005 & 5003
Went with the ONOFF CB358 Labo Spec. From what I have read, the latter will be more forgiving and play softer than the Miura's. I just need to decide between Shimada Tour Lite and the Shimada Tour.

Jbeam 425 vs Epon Zero
So from what I am reading, the Epon Zero and Jbeam 425 are very similar in; workability, penetrating ball flight and distance but the Epon Zero feels and sounds better. Based on the above, the Epon Zero wins ?

Jbeam 425 vs 535 head-to-head review
One driver is never enough ;) Often thought of sporting two in the bag. One fade bias and one draw bias in order to cover all bases off the tee

No longer looking - Crazy UT Stiff (7.2)
No longer looking as from what I've read and been told, it might be too low launch for the Modart 19* hybrid head it was going to go in. I will be trying the Quadra Utility X first.
