Look forward to getting some feedback on the 2017 version.

For the distance, I feel M2 is very long. I play 6800 yard over all length, and I had the longest iron in my back nine was 6 iron. Very impressive on its distance.

I was in Southern California couple weeks ago, and played with a rental set. It was my first time hitting M2 driver and M2 3 wood on course. ( I've demoed them in a in door trackman, nothing attractive at my demo.) Everything is TM stock stiff. My driver went all over the place in the front nine, and I think I shot 6-7 over. I shot 1 under in my back 9, with 3 wood only. There are couple of short par 4, with very narrow fairway, and my M2 was very accurate. I did not miss any fairway, and hit every narrow line. Super impressive. I had Ryoma fairway wood in and out my bag over the years many times. I personally feel they are totally different club. M2 just so easy to hit and much easier to control ball flight. Ryoma for me request my A game to hit and control. Over all their sound, feeling, launch are all different. While my Ryoma shaft is heavier than M2 stock shaft, which is somewhere between 60-65 gram. I can't remember exactly. But the shafts are definitely can be a very important reason. M2 driver might not be that bad, but that 10.5 is too high, and shaft is too light for me. So I'm definitely gonna buy several 2016 M2 to try in different shaft. And also to try their 17 model.
  4. Itobori black driver. 9.5 loft. In mint condition. With Waccine shaft SR flex. Original head cover in like new condition. 45.25-45.5 in length. Everything built in Japan. $750 gifted+shipping. Send me offer if you want head or shaft only. The only thing I'm interested is 2016 Ryoma Type -G 10.5, or 9.5 head in same condition and bought from TSG. 5. It is true, Chris. My fitting and playing experience confirm again and again that I always need strong 1-1.5 degree on 9 iron to balance out the distance gap. But only one iron.
  6. That's is very good point on 48 loft wedge. Very true. I had a long and hard time to figure that out. Make a lot of sense. Thanks.
  7. Over the time, I found JDM brand such as Modart and Zodia have their irons in much weaker loft than US brand. I know you can always send in the custom order, but from their standard spec sheet, they are weaker. For example, some Zodia model has almost 2-3 degree weaker than PXG. I know couple members here always adjust the iron loft. I just want to get some idea on the reason behind this. Thanks. Victor
  8. I saw a set of 302 which had some kind of light grey color and light brone material finish. ( sorry, I'm not good at describing color at all. ) The clubs are in used condition, 8/10. But to my surprise, this type of finish are very anti age and anti wear. Clubs are in beautiful shape. I know 302 offer factory copper finish, so anyone knows if they also offer vintage finish? Thanks.
  9. Comparing with the iron shaft, the UT STP is better, but I always use X flex on Hybrid and 5 wood for some reason. That might effect my feeling.
  10. Gentlemen, I do confirm that I feel crazy STP is stiffer, while I have better tolerance on STP hybrid. Iron shaft is particularly stiffer. I have CB I 80 with my Epon P1, which I like a lot several years ago. Last year, I bought Epon AF tour with STP from another member here. 85 stiff. I felt it is extremely stiff. Very hard to control the ball flight. I'm a high ball flighter in iron. STP keeps my ball lower too. Just sharing some thoughts. I wish I have some regular flex.
  11. STP is over stiff in my feeling. I mean all the Crazy is over stiff, while STP is more than over.
