  1. Jer What is the physical difference, if any, between the supposed tour only black rac mb's and their counter part the retail coin forged rac mb's? Can this difference be seen, such as the leading edge, sole, other than the black versus the non black difference. Or is this substantiated with a letter of authenticity by someone at TM. :-)
  2. They are, it doesn't :o

    ViJay is with Cleveland. :o
  4. Drink after a round, of course, Stella's a good choice and so isn't Sierra Pale Ale. Sam's taught me the enjoyment of Makers or Knob with a twist. Further more, I sometimes drink "BEFORE" a round, I mean, what the hey! I usually only drink when I'm alone or with someone. Latta Guys  Bud Fullers ESB Sierra Nevada Summer Fest Labatts Blue Guiness Stout Anchor Steam Liberty Ale Modelo Especial Rogue Dead Guys Wisconsin Belgian Red Corona Rolling Rock Stone Ruination IPA Pacifico Victory Wheat Hoegaarden Original White Ale These beers represent some of my favorites, there are many more not listed. I've never met a beer I did't like.
  5. What proof is there that 15 grooves in satin perform differently than 16 grooves in black chrome or oil quench. And besides, who gives a damn, these statements you're making are getting real old real fast, don't you have anything else to do? :-)
  6. As I understand it, there are two different y groove wedges, one has two small pin pricks on the hosel to signafy "y" grooves, and the other is the stamping of the letter "y" on the face side of wedges in the upper toe outside the grooves. All of the rest are either box, " square grooves" or the "U" grooves, some are retail, some Japan retail and some are tour wedges. All "y" grooves are tour as far as I know. Just because a wedge is tour, doesn't mean it has "y" grooves. From my understanding of these wedge grooves, no one can tell by the naked eye, which groove is which. I own a Japan retail yellow flag 54.12, which I understand to be Miura forged. I also own a Japan red flag 48.06, which I understand to be Miura forged, tour only. As it was explained to me, red flag signafies retail, but 48.06 was only made for the tour. I admit my knowledge is rather limited and vague, but it's all I have. :smile2:
  7. I'm not sure how everyone else sees these Pros3's but I've just recently installed a Pros3 Reg in a 540DF, 44.5" @D-2, and this shaft can take all I can give it. My swing speed is about 88 to 92 mph, not fast by any stretch of the imagination. I've talked to others who've stated the same thing, this shaft with 4.4 torque and low bend point isn't loose at all. If I were you, I'd put in a stiff, tip it a touch and go from there, this shaft is a good one. I've just switched from a Fuji 652 Stiff, untipped to the Pros 3 Regular, tipped 1/4" and I feel the Pros 3 is more firm and I like the response of this shaft better. I've been told by a responsible source, the Pros 3 is one of the more popular shafts in fw woods on the tour. FWIW

First of all, I thing if you are going to talk cpm's, then you should talk of one specific shaft, with one specific length clamp, and one specific tipped or untipped length and one overall playing length, with one swing weight. With all of that being said, now you can start talking of what cpm's this shaft plays to or what cpm's this shaft raw will frequencie at. For a point of reference, we have a 757 Stiff, tipped 1 inch, in a 510DF, playing to 44.5 inches @ D-3, with a frequencie in a 5 inch clamp, to 272 cpm's. Hope this helps.
  9. Breal Since we all enjoy your avatars, it now give me the incentive to try and be more creative in my own. :o

No serial numbers and .335 hosel instead of .350. hosel size in the retail. Parr
