  1. Happy Thanksgiving all :tsg_smilie_cool: After this cold front came through my area, it looks like my golf is on hold for a bit also. Looks like it's time to eat, drink and make Mary. :tsg_smilie_smile:
  2. Fuji has Vista Pro Series that are either .335 or .350. The Tour Release Series of 26.3 and 27.3 both are either .335 or .350. Of the Speeder Series, the only one I'm certain about is the 757. Fuji Six is either .335 or .350. These are the only ones that I know of for sure, I have some of all of them. In case you're interested.
  3. For a cast iron, they bend pretty easy. A good club fitter shouldn't have any problems adjusting lofts and lie on the TM LT's. :smile2:
  4. I hear tell there a lady over in the Philippines with quite a collection.
  5. Mike, I've been thinking about you, I hope things are looking up for you. It's difficult for me to realize the anguise you must be feeling. Somehow, sitting behind a keyboard so far away doesn't lend itself to the sensitivity of good thoughts and healthy emotion so deserving in your rare case. On Chat we joked, we laughed, we made fun of each other, and had a rip rouring good time but we sometimes eluded to the facts that things weren't all ok with your health. If thinking about this helps, if praying about this helps, if talking about and posting about this helps, then I'll do all of it. Keep the good thoughts and the faith and here's to your improved health and well being. :smile2:  Mac :spit:
  6. And I, for you Andy, have a very fine set of Ping ISI's, black dot., with stiff shafts, I'd be willing to part with. I'm not sure if these are tour irons or not, but I'm pretty sure they are.................NOT! Only 4 rounds? At least with only 4 rounds under your belt, you have a reason for not playing well. I don't have an excuse.
  7. Didier A very nice tribute from you to your friend. I believe your friend had a truly fine friend in you. Mac
  8. Please, Give me a break!!! You think current diamana isn't for hard hitters? Then how come Tiger is using this exact shaft for his driver and FW. elnino82 You really think Tiger plays stock Diamana's?
  9. Maybe it's like the tour only versions are, with varying tip characteristics. Such as tip stiff, tip medium and soft tips shafts within each weight group.
  10. It only matters if you can't putt as well as Tiger or Ernie. I'm good :tired: I can putt with anything  But putting with a face balanced putter has made me just awesome. I'm just like most on here, I can make a putt once in awhile but not on a consistant basis, I'd guess that's why I'm still a 14 handicap. In all honestly, my BG GT face balanced putted has really helped, and that helps my confidence also. Win Win situation.
  11. As I understand it, weight ports are installed by using two sided clear tape and pressing them in. I don't see why you couldn't use regular grip tape, cut it to size, wet with solvent and slip your weight port in and then secure until the solvent dries. Just another thought. :tired:
  12. Bill, yes indeed, I've a set right here in front of me. I pulled the S-300's in them, and I've boughten new shafts (taper tip) and they fit. Mac
  13. There sure seems to be alot of them Mizzy 37 Ho's around lately. Andy, you always got the cream of the crop, you and Mike monster.
  14. First of all, I'd be interested in how far you hit that 4 wood, and how high. Do you play a 3 wood, 13* or 15*? How far do you hit them? I personally am not strong enough or swing fast enough to get a 15* fw wood off the ground, therefore I've gone to a 17* smoothie in place of it. I've shafted mine with a Fuji 757, and I could not be more happy. In my experience with high launch shafts, in that 17* tour head, I would be hitting it high, with spin, and getting no distance at all. :tired: NV 85, Fuji Pro 95, Fuji 869, GD YS-9, just to name a few would be good shafts for that 17* tour.
  15. I don't think TM ever sold the 580XD TP as retail, therefore, TM would replace your driver with a 580XD retail, that is if they'd replace it at all. Once a driver is reshafted, this usually voids the warranty.
  16. I consider the MP-33's one of the most forgiving and easiest irons to hit, either mb's or cb's. Since owning the MP-33's, I've had the chance to hit a set of MP-32's, and due to their more blunted (rolled) leading edge, I"ve found MP-32's to be even easier to hit. My findings are based upon my tendency to dig with irons :tired:
  17. I have a set of these Nippon for Titleist NS 970's in stiff flex installed in my TM irons. To me, the flex seems much stiffer than the DG S-300's that were originally in them. This might be due to the lighter weight (106 grams) than the DG @ around 127 grams. These shafts do hit the ball higher, but I wouldn't anticipate these shafts being any softer in feeling than DG and with any added flex. Even when hit well, they still feel very firm at impact, with little or no release at impact that I could feel. Its possible that this NS 970 in regular may have suited my swing better, would have given me more feeling. I've never hit a Nippon NS Pro 950 or NS Pro 1050, i'm not sure of the difference, if any. Hope this helps you out.
  18. Doesn't that seem kind of dumb, to mill the face and then coat it with chrome? I would think that raw would compliment the milled texture on face and grooves. JAT
  19. ah heck chainsaw, I'd have given you $250 for that bag but I didn't see it in time. :money: Too bad :tired:
  20. Precision Thank you kindly, it's always nice to see who's playing what. It seems as if the various manufacturers shaft counts have changed drastically in the past year.
  21. I'm afraid the "y" isn't etched on the face, it's stamped. At least on the good ones.
  22. Don't you mean extra weight in the toe to encourage a fade? :o It seems like someone in the B/S/T is looking for a smoothie Duffy. I wonder if the "D" is etched by the same guy that put the "T" on his irons.
  23. They are, it doesn't :o Not true my friends!!! They exist becasuse I've had 2 and sold my 17* to wedgehound!! They are insanely rare, but they do indeed exist. Sean Please educate us all and share with us pictures of those "Smooth Duffies" until then, I'm calling :bulls**t:
  24. mossy This is the question you should be posing over at bs'g, ask that question over there, they are the ones who've sold these supposed black tours. We don't believe bs'g over here, we are the ones who've asked similar questions on bs'g and were removed. Go ask Ditto if these are real, see what he tells you. :-) p. s. Chances are that 6 or 8 of his DittoHeads will shout you down before you receive any answers.
