  3. I'm loving Tour G J-Spec's
  4. I have both the D & S right now. will post a blog next week on it :)
  5. I've not hit either yet. Both of these are being used for long drive not just the ZY-11. But the heads Yamazaki-san is using is 5-7* in loft. I ordered mere mortal lofts with square face angles.
  6. ?? No offense at all, I just thought you said you asked me a question, I must have missed it.
  7. They make really nice putters don't they? My fav most fav clubs from Modart are their woods, suda wedges, and now putters. All original shapes in compact form elegant and simple with an absolutely perfect finish that's easy on the eyes. The R51 - plumbers neck, mallet style, soft flat grey finish. The milling is at perfect depth it's a forged putter so already soft. The R52 - Your classic L shape but this one is smaller, sharper, more refined, It's perfect. The R51 & R52 are new models first seen almost one year ago at the last Tokyo Golf Show. The R50 is the original and awesome These are all made of Japan S25C then CNC machined from 1 block finished off in Black Nickel. R52:
  8. For Yamazaki-san, Jbeam sponsored player :) TSG will be getting the Black Out 435 this week and the ZY-11 next month. Please email if someone wants to reserve they are not a retail release both are considered pro's clubs and only sold by 2 stores in Japan and TSG of course :)
  9. And do email me if you need a good price. I hope to get feedback on this one soon.
  10. Sorry what was your question? Handmade makes perfect sense for anyone who doesn't want to tie up money into buying thousands of sets. It allows brands to make low quantities and adjustments more frequently and in the end it allows them to offer a more complete selection within a brand. Limited Edition doesn't have to be more expensive or less or prized. It's circumstantial. Specs and tolerance in general is much better when it comes to handmade, because someone who cared made it.
  11. It's just another flavor 460cc's, adjustable, with weight in 2 finish options normal (red) or black (black). Bridgestone is highlighting 2 techs we haven't seen them stand behind before, Power Slit which are slits near the top line crown this makes the face flex back and pop forward at impact. There is also the Power Rib which is like the slits and the same face milling on the J715's for reduced spin. 8.5/9.5/10.5 lofts 45.5" standard playing length, in Japan upgrade shaft options, Diamana R60, MJ-6/7, Kuro Kage XT60, Fubuki AT60 Stock shaft is 57g in stiff flex 4.9tq. This club can be used by high cappers and professionals depending on the setup.
  12. I thought Vega summed it up nicely.
  13. This is a really really good driver, I had to change the shaft out from Shinari 60S to a tipped Touale S at 46" so it can fade a little less for me. Roddio S-6 has been the most popular as it's an option but overall the labo shafts perform true to flex with many options. I'd love for a full day comparing the labo's vs the roddio's.
  14. He trained under Okamura-san at Kyoei for about a week. I'm interested to see what he brings to the table as James has a very unique grind style hopefully something new at the show comes out.
  15. For mass produced there isn't anything I would consider grinding, the removal of a small line that the press created needs to be smoothed but thats a job for anyone, hand made the entire shape, grind, thicknesses, CG location, bounce, loft, lie, head weight it's all up to the person grinding it. I'm all for both, the perfection of mass produced is something to value, but the look, shape, uniqueness and skill of hand grind is appealing as well.
  16. No word yet but we are hoping so!
  17. Both millings you can't go wrong with. Just an idea, try a shallow depth next gen PZ w/ black teflon and a nice paint theme. Teflon black is very durable and very black and nice looking overall so paint fill really stands out against it.
  18. I sure can, the RB247G is not as soft, it's a bit bigger, it's longer and more forgiving, RB has more offset. The two look and play very different.
  19. Honma makes their own, they are big on rolling graphite they also have the 8-weave which is unreal. Their 4-5 star shafts are beyond what's available other than 7D and provided the shaft fits the player.
  20. Updated the title in the pro shop sorry about that :)
  21. For sure not low, it had a Repulsion kick ST105 that is somewhat a firm steel shaft. I would call it almost high and maybe with say Modus125 it could be mid/high These are excellent irons though, onoff has evolved these into something special.
  22. Pics here - Full run down in the blog:
  23. Guys they are already sold. I'm working on getting as many more as possible.
  24. No they won't but the new Bridgestone clubs will be in lefty soon.
  25. Yup that first pic is the new NSX 150k. A new Ford GT! if it's anything like the last it's actually a good investment if you don't drive it. Call your dealers, the order banks are not open but you can request to put down a refundable deposit that puts you in line first.
