2015 ONOFF Forged KURO Irons
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
The biggest difference between previous years is smaller shape and size, less thick and bulgy. Performance for me was the similar easy to use clubs as the previous years in a more refined look feel feel is soft/firmer than prev. awesome feel. Good Shaft and Spec options + Roddio I-10's, MCI's, Crazy, Quadra etc.. The progressive weight/logo concept I enjoy having the visualization. The Modus 125 to me plays nice firmer more accurate than the 120/130 and I could possibly do a soft step for me. but we already have tons of feedback on these shafts, ll positive but a few and for the few it appears they over powered these in stiff which says they are strong and or have a faster/different swing. -
I won't be hitting these, we only made 1 set in soft black, 1 in chrome and one in black boron all with copper and different color themes made to be listed in the pro shop. I can only assume they are softer than the standard model which is in satin and no copper.

Modart is good for feel, accuracy, workability, and easy contact and getting up with low spin like the SYD the only thing going against it is it's about 10yds shorter than others. Royal Collection 306V is another that is a little similar in playability but I would wait for their new releases coming soon.

Here is the Tour G Issue Grip, they look the same as the black Tour G 30/50/70 grips but are made with a rough finish and have the tightest tolerance of 0.05g sold as a 10 set boxed set for 230.00 Only set of irons is listed in the TSG Pro Shop for 2650.00 or 2500 for forum members: http://www.tourspecgolf.com/crazy-1-of-1-limited-mb-soft-black-3-pw

2015 Yamaha RMX Tour Model CB PiCs!
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Much smaller than both, maybe my pics are close in but these are short heel to toe, very thin top line, they do got some decent mass for its small size. -
That stock shaft is on another level, better than many aftermarket shafts hence it's price. Not sure but I think it's a collaboration with TRPX or Crazy.

"And I have had a ton of irons" Yes he does!

Has anyone tried the Maruman Zeta iron?
TourSpecGolfer replied to Calvin's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
I would suggest forget the Maruman, they will feel harsh as they are cast, also a bit big and akward. I would suggest for a 12 the ONOFF Kuro Forged, Romaro MC, Bridgestone DF or DPF, Yamaha RMX Forged, or latest VG3. Actually safest choices would be the Kuro and VG3. I'd say at 12 you can handle a forgiving 1 piece forged CB head no problem, I don't see a reason to go 2 piece or cast in this case unless you need oversized clubs or a lot more distance for a slow head speed. -
Pics here, review in blog.

it's an excellent club but it does have a larger overall size than the AF7s. compared to the standard VG3 it doesn't feel as dense and soft has a much thicker top line, size and more offset. I highly suggest the PRGR ID Nabla RS Titan face if you want a major improvement over the 703, one of the best GI irons without getting too ugly.

I love the Touale shaft, my favorite of all the TRPX line up.

What's your handicap Calvin? what irons do u play now? -
I think the full shots are a bit easier with the 58* compared against the Vokeys, The shape is more tear drop, feel is different the ONOFF feels closer to the irons but not the same. I guess I could say more sticky impact but I think that will wear off with use. In regards to loft, figure your PW is 45* on the Kuro's so 50* to me makes the most sense then 56* as it has a grind to allow you to open up for higher shots so I'd say you don't need a 58*. The other route is 48/52/58 so tuff call you can carry an extra wood or driving iron or an extra wedge, to me the fewer wedge options the better but to each is own, I've played 3 and 4 wedge setups ( not including PW ) sometimes it's overload and I second guess myself when the lofts are too close to each other.

Craig's Factory "Miura" Putter
TourSpecGolfer replied to TourSpecGolfer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Yup that is correct, the milling outside of the insert is for aesthetics as we don't hit the ball or try to hit the ball in that area, doesn't cost much at all for that feature, the original milling was worn and not as pretty so it made sense :) -
Cosmo, if purchased from TSG and the head wasn't altered please send it in to us, if it's Ryoma's bad its fixed on their dime. here to help, email me [email protected]

48/6 50/8 52/8 56/12 58/12 But do keep in mind in the higher lofts the grind changes so they start with higher bounce and the grind allows you to change the bounce based on how much you open the face.

I'm sorry I'm not following can you please explain? Sounds like your saying material makes no difference if there is milling on it. -

The standard shaft is not available yet so we can do head only or any UT shaft from JDM land. I highly suggest this ATTAS EZ/HY it comes in 55/65/75/85/95
